I really believe that MDL rating are decided by them. The age group stats don't match the rating but they will…
There is no transparency on MDL. Douban publish a rating mid-way while MDL will put up a score the next day and the user data doesn't match what they put up until they align it at the end. There was a drama I tracked the MDL data daily and it was so obvious they manipulated group data daily to align to the rating at the end. Another drama, I saw the Douban score fall by 0.3 overnight with no changes to the number of user ratings and no BE or OE, in fact this drama eventually fell from 6.9 to 6.3 with each increment the contribution was lower from 6.1 to 6.5 which I supposed is possible except the drop of 0.3 with no changes to user count; but many months later I saw additional 4K user ratings with avg of 4.1 (since Douban is more transparent, you can back into the incremental average) for a drama that started off with 12K rating it 6.9, you know that is fishy... why would 4K people rate it 4.1 months later, so the score continues to deteriorate.
This under-2-hour film is a melancholic story that lingers with its emotional depth, exploring loss and longing. Sad endings, like "Love Story," leave lasting impressions and touch the heart.
I really believe that MDL rating are decided by them. The age group stats don't match the rating but they will align it later. If they know for sure they're dunking it, they will align it a little bit each day. So maybe there is still some hope for this drama to go back up some.
I think the canal people trying to find out the history of the ship and who was on it is fascinating. SiYi is…
Everyone looks better than 1st half, even Fenghua's mom has a better hairstyle, so looking forward to seeing SiYi's style since she went to Italy! I hope she discovers she's from a wealthy family. I think it's great that they don't forget their roots in the canal.

I have no idea but it usually takes at least 12 months after it wrap, except I did notice MM only took 10 months from wrap (2/28/24) to airing (1/7/25). So if MR were to take 10 months for post-production, it would air end of Mar 2025, but I doubt it.

SOKP had this huge pent up demand where it surpassed 7M reservations because it was highly anticipated and because it delayed airing for many many months (possibly almost a year?) and then it just air dropped (11/7/23) without any announcement the day after WOL aired (11/6/23) according to AvenueX (11/11/23) "air dropped... long awaited...once scheduled... postponed... nobody knows when its goinna show up...suddenly it just showed up on iQiYi." OFL aired 11/3/23 so there were two BL dramas airing the same time as WOL.

The constant "black" against XuKai was the reason I was intrigued by this actor - like WHY? why only him? So, it was really nice to see him get two separate awards for BCE for outstanding and best quality and creative acting. I think "creative" fits Xu Kai.
Let me tell you Si Yi isn't even in Cover of drama she is not "main character". You will not get many scenes of…
SiYi is listed as one of the six main characters here on MDL. Even though she didn't die but they basically "killed" her character once it served its purpose, which is fine, I have no problem with it, it made for good story too although I'm not sure how to link her story to others.. I thought there was a linkage but now I think she is just a side story, This way they have more time to develop the main story of going North and focus on leading characters. SiYi role is self-contained and has no character development if she only has 2 min, left in the series.
