Go Princess Go is supposed to be chaotic. I don't see him as a director who is looking to refine his style from anyone. If anything, other directors may adapt some of his unique styles if they can reign it in a bit. This director probably has to hold himself back not to go too abstract otherwise, he may lose some audiences because at the end of day, the producers are looking to make money, not let him create his art.
