Very rare I find an actor in more than one drama I like, he is one of the few in two dramas I like but maybe the early school comedy The Flatterer doesn't count? he also seems to have rather few main roles in his career so far ~~ his handsome face deserves more
Do not see attraction of this couple, she is sweet but plain, his character seems more complicated but maybe that is supposed to be the attraction, not sure it will last in real life ~~ but why I love this movie is kyudo 弓道 is my favorite sport so this movie I give 10/10 _へ__(‾◡◝ )>
is very interesting theme and sympathetically performed but to me three people "compromising" their emotional life and love seemed underneath full of angst and sadness as "live a lie" but very good [btw is not true no gay life in Japan, no more hidden than among middle class anywhere - maybe when this movie made it was]
very funny ~~ zany ~~ but somewhere around episode 7 zany turns to crazy and what goes on I don't know but I still like it enough to watch to the end, just begin to lose interest a little~~ and if you think gay does not exist in Japan you see here otherwise, it starts quite early ⌒°(❛ᴗ❛)°⌒
As it starts, very bloody (well I suppose it would be for vampire drama), very melodramatic, slow. Will stay and see how it goes. Lee Soo Hyuk better with long hair compared with High School.
On re-watching this I feel it is the character rather than Gil Ra Im personally I do not like, but then I suppose the drama revolves around the complete differences between the lead characters. I love this for the background and other characters. I like Hyun Bin's clothes style also.
Lovely drama, I liked four main characters, all lovely, and background, costumes. Lost some interest after about ep. 15 for reasons those who watched will guess, but personal to me. Not totally in love with the ending. May re-watch as plot not so important. Cannot find these actors in any other drama that sounds interesting to me.
Episode 1 violent intro but this grew into something of an epic. Wonderful martial arts - historical with plenty of memorable characters. I found Sword Saint more convincing as a martial arts master. The contrast of light-dark with Heuksa Chorong was well done. Excellent political intrigue woven throughout with Hong Dae Joo a memorable villain and built up the tension to spectacular finish. I am not a great lover of "epilogues" but it was well written, allowing for the fact that they are always somewhat predictable. It's a mighty effort to make and a mighty effort to watch, so I am sure I will come back to it again in time but not for a while. It's a commitment to watch but one I always looked forward to daily. The only drawback for me was that the music got very repetitious and intrusive sometimes. Otherwise brilliant all round. 11/10
2 episodes more to watch, so I do not know, hope they do not die~~~~
