If you like this genre, watch it. It is as near perfect of its type as I've ever seen (including Japanese and western productions), with credible characters, allowing for the deliberately unconventional lead "Dave"/Seo in Guk. The drama revolves around both Lee Hyun and Lee Jun Ho, with Jung Seon Ho in the middle, I would say. Comic moments, romance [the only weak spot I feel, somewhat unrealistic ending] and lots of psychological and thriller material to keep you hooked. I never re-watch thriller/crime type dramas, as they are too plot-driven and once that's out, the interest departs. But I may make an exception here. Congratulations to cast/director/producer but above all the brilliant writer.
I quite liked part one when it started, but not impressed by part 2. The 2037 background is not very convincing. It gets quite confusing. Which one is Bum Gyun and Joon Hyuk? The 2 part formula is interesting idea but relation between two parts quite unclear. Now over the half way mark and the title is very appropriate, as I think it is going round in circles and becoming quite a struggle to watch. Towards the end picked up again, more action and story coming together. But what happened?
Male lead part 2 quite handsome. Bromance between brothers but otherwise very slight. IMO real bromance is between non-related persons.
At ep.2, I do not want to be rude but I was thinking he was better when he was a robot (Are you human too?), then I was thinking is there any difference between this character and a robot? then quite emotional, but the idea anyone with self respect gets together with her again 7 years later is ridiculous.
Lots of feel good, comedy, like Seo in Guk's personality, but "sags", loses interest a bit in the middle, but worth watching to the end. Lee Ha Na is sweet. 9.5 for Seo in Guk, otherwise 9
Brilliant. Very intriguing drama, you get enough hints to relate it to scientific developments of advanced civilisations without losing the period atmosphere. Sort of historical X files. I do not know much about Korean history but as the Joseon dynasty lasted 500 years, which period is this? For anyone into mystery/sci-fi/historical setting highly recommended.
I thought this drama was good with so much good reviews but i dropped on episode 2. i loved comedy elements but…
I found first two episodes poor like you but I really felt it picked up from episode 3 when the supernatural interest became more important, but comedy still there too, so I would give it another try from episode 3 on.
Excellent drama, enjoy to watch. Tells of personal stories of all the members of this group brought together randomly to play music, their differences from each other , but having to overcome these to play music. Sometimes can be too fast and confusing. There is also a mystery in the background.
Poor Takemoto~~he is a great guy, facing and overcoming all the knocks in his life. Very funny and very moving at the same time, gets the youthful energy, Ikuta Toma sums up the mixture of comedy and bitter-sweet romance - but underlying all is the story of a group of friends and their loyalty and feelings for each other. I would like a break from the "uplifting" background music sometimes. It deserves a better overall rating.
I liked the dramatic opening. After a slow start in episodes 1 and 2 , where it was very unclear where this was leading, I found it riveting - as much for the characters as the mystery, plot and supernatural interest. I also liked the way it still managed to inject comic moments into what was basically a very dark story. I have rarely come across a story with so many twists. Just when you think all has been revealed another twist arrives. I am still not clear who was the ultimate villain. A very unexpected ending, nice but illogical in view of the fate outlined just before. I think the main (or perhaps only) reason I would re-watch a series is not for the story but from feeling for the characters - and this is high on my re-watch list for that reason. Highly recommended for anyone who likes supernatural mystery with some romantic interest without it completely dominating the drama.
Once it got past the slow start, it turned into a riveting, suspenseful psychological thriller. The time warp idea gave a nice sci-fi "twist" to the story. If you like this sort of stuff, watch it!
ぼくわ本当にそれが好きだ〜〜それわ本当にかわいいだ。very sweet, nice boys. Sakaki's mystery stories keep the drama flowing but it is the characters around which events take place who are the focus, the romantic friendship of Sakaki and Tori, but caring for people who are different from most people, sensitive to life in special way, and feeling for beauty in ordinary nature around us. All in understated way. You have to notice at start the blue sky「azure?」 egg 〜〜青空の卵〜〜of the title Sakaki plays with, stands I feel for beautiful delicate shell around and protecting our feelings. I feel the music adds to feeling of delicacy in this drama. You can call this "tearjerker". As it says, if you feel sad and alone, go out and see the blue sky that connects everyone. I wish all people could be so caring.
At episode 1, I like the Frost character - and particularly the hair - but that's about all for now. I found episode 2 story quite upsetting. The "counsellor" side is barely evident. It's just another mystery drama with a different formula. Ep. 3 at best confusing, at worst just boring. I cannot get on with this show at all. The frosty hair is not enough.
Anyone who likes school dramas, watch this. It was a lovely series and characters . It confronts some serious issues but does not lose its heartwarming quality. I would watch this to cheer myself up when I'm sad and want to remember there are good people in the world. Oh what shall I do now it's ended? Wait a bit and watch it again.
He was a very young-looking 23 when Secret Campus was done in 2006. Liked his character a lot. Photo doesn't look anything like what he looked like there. Seems to have disappeared after that. It's a pity.
Male lead part 2 quite handsome. Bromance between brothers but otherwise very slight. IMO real bromance is between non-related persons.
