Same storyline as Tunnel. Do not see much comedy in this, except if police beating each other and suspects up seems funny. Not sure how realistic the '80s settings are - seem very primitive, more like '50s movies I have seen. All these detective type dramas become addictive as you get to know characters and want to know how storyline develops. Is sci-fi element involving a parallel universe? For me too much beating up but upside is cops beat themselves also~~ ヾ(。ꏿ﹏ꏿ)ノ゙ ~~ This is one that improves as it goes on, also where I may also have some sympathy for the killer (the guy who was in School 2013). It was gripping and "upbeat" ending (I think?), but I think still very "in your face" (LOL) violence, but the friendship of the group was maybe the best feature. I recommend also Tunnel.
Beautiful drama, costumes, ost so far, I'm glad I watched it. The "cross dressing" dramas would be far better with a real man disguised as a woman disguising "herself" as a man. Then all these supposed women-disguised-as men ~~ who will never fool anyone with at least the intelligence of a hen ~~ would be infinitely more credible. This has started off so nice with gay vibes with at least 3 characters, why spoil it for them by revealing the truth? ~~ ヾ (✿>﹏ ⊙〃)ノ ~~ Just finished watching after putting it off and off because I did not want it to end, For me everything about this drama was peak, including the ending. It is one of very few I could watch again in due course. (*•̀ᴗ•́*)و ̑̑
Looks like a fun comedy drama. I was looking and I knew I had seen that handsome face before - Gong Yoo of Goblin (-‿◦) I like him better here than in Goblin
Ep.1 "….this is just the start of the excitement" (Ryuzaki) Very clever take on the question of where the boundaries of morality ~~ between good vs evil ~~ lie. It raises the question but it is hard to see how it will answer it - countless philosophers have not been able to - or will it turn into the same dilemma presented in a different story each episode? Ep 6 interesting shows may not be right to use healing power in every situation. Very hard to develop this story in later episodes I thought, but although there was some dragging out in the middle which made made me put it on hold for some time, it came through at the end I feel. I am therefore glad I watched it to the end. I did not love it, but definitely liked, so it is worth a watch if you like this sort of supernatural stuff. There is some some gripping drama at some stages. The only thing I would add, though, is that I found the reactions of people from the kids down in the last episode completely unrealistic and unbelievable but the ending itself I found satisfying. Music very good and atmospheric. Re-watch unlikely as this very much plot-driven, so once you know outcome there is not enough other interest. Nice-looking guys ~~ Takizawa in a very different role from Antique.
