right? exactly! plus they could show the Ancient China´s glory through that. really not getting this at all. I understand how some shows might be saver to be released later but SPL is pretty safe in most areas.

I´m sending the link. personally the first 45 chapters were harder for me and it took me two weeks to finish them while the following 30 chapters were read in 4 days? it gets better and better, it is not that the beginning of the story is not interesting! it is! it´s just that the pace is a bit slower? you also see the development of the characters (just the pure fact that you meet one of the main characters when he is 13 might explain this). I think if you are a fast reader you can do it in 2 weeks? I´m not tbh,

I haven´t read it so I cannot answer fully but I can answer why I had chosen to read SPL first rather than 2HA or TGCF (though a friend of mine is a bit obsessed with tgcf so I guess it must be really good), but I absolutely love the characters. the story is amazing but I can understand how considering this is danmei it might not be too appealing, it doesn´t beat around the bush, it is set during war. sometimes it is raw (someone heal me after that bone of impurity explanation scene), but the characters are so good I can´t explain how much people are missing and I might be a newbie in all this but I have read plenty of western literature and Gu Yun is one of my absolute favourites, accompanied by Chang Geng. I also feel like since this is not that romance-heavy it could be easier to transform and make it into an epic story.
I just want them to be equally popular and SPL just deserves so much more.

I really hope this will air once the celebrations are properly over. I don´t see why it hasn´t yet. the trailer has been finished, the story seems harmless (in a sense of any scandalous matters or whatever). someone please explain to me how does Tencent think.

but maybe it is because it is BL? or based on a BL novel? take my words with a pinch of salt as I´m a mere newbie in this sphere but from what I have heard the Untamed also wasn´t very much promoted. it just ... came out one day? hah, he is! I love him! he is one of my favourite characters of all the time, western books included. he is so interesting, both a grand character and yet certainly flawed.

agh that is exciting! I keep wondering what is keeping them so long from releasing considering the story itself is easily made into a .. well ...bromance I guess? so maybe the postproduction and possible effects could be more difficult?
