I have a lot of thoughts about the drama, but first: What the f- was Minhee so upset about? More in the spoiler:
She wasn't being forced into that line of work. In fact, she was the one begging for MORE work. Even when Mr. Lee was looking out for her and seeing how she was struggling.
And while Gyuri was the first to throw a wrench into Jisoo's efficient operation, it was Minhee's crazy a-- that set the whole final arc in motion, tbh.
For anyone who has watched the series, Episode 10 has to be one of the funniest, most exciting, most fun and most emotionally heartbreaking episodes of a Korean drama, or even any television series I have ever watched. That they were able to pack so many different emotions into one episode is a major accomplishment that deserves all the recognition.
Can someone explain to me how the workplace situation was resolved at the end? And also a clarification on the…
The time jump was kind of confusing. Was it a few months? A year? The co-worker got married and had a baby during that time. Plus the friend setting and settling in her Jeju cafe.
And with the sexual harassment, what ended up being the resolution? The women got shifted around, but the men didn't really get punished that much?
some people are saying the ending was bad, is that true? also do the main leads end up together?
The series ends with a huge cliffhanger. I think the series was always planned as being more than one season. But production was a little long and difficult, so it's hard for them to set a season 2 right now.
Lol, I feel like most ppl are just pressed he didn't end up with Sooah. I'm happy he picked Yiseo, they're cute.
I think most people assumed that was the romantic endgame from the beginning. But people have plenty other things they didn't like about the show other than that one thing.
Right? I'm seeing comments here and elsewhere assuming that anyone who might not LOVE the series is merely upset about the pairing. When in reality, there's other, more glaring things to legitimately criticize and point out.
I did feel this was Kim Tak Gu lite, made for todays audiences -Still, this can never come close to the makjang…
Oh I absolutely agree. It's essentially Baker King with more edgy aspects and less personal connection, tbh. And I actually think Baker King characters had more gray areas than the characters here on Itaewon Class.
And while Gyuri was the first to throw a wrench into Jisoo's efficient operation, it was Minhee's crazy a-- that set the whole final arc in motion, tbh.
And with the sexual harassment, what ended up being the resolution? The women got shifted around, but the men didn't really get punished that much?
