The comments made me think this was going to be a big pile of trash. I still watched anyway and I ended up being shocked-not-shocked that the comments here were complete overreactions. I can understand if this type of melodrama is not your preference, but a lot of the criticism here is so shallow and baseless. Amazing.

A lot of new BL fans only look for shows with lots of sex and/or fluffy romance. And that's fine. But that doesn't mean that shows without sex or contrived skinship are invalid. The BL fandom is really starting to become very negative and toxic and that's a shame.

They had enough material to go on for a few more episodes and still not feel dragged out.

The second lead couple was fun and cute. But to say they are more interesting than Kang Soo and Dan Ah is crazy. I think they actually might be one of the strongest lead couples I've seen. Both in terms of story and Go Kyung Pyo and Chae Soo Bin's performances/chemistry.

Excellent cast. Great, inspiring story. Emotional but also lots of fun, lighthearted moments. Love this series!

Such a wonderful movie. But one thing threw me off. The actress who plays Vanessa is Filipino and the other actresses who were foreigners that knew Vanessa also appeared to be Filipino. But the characters are supposed to be Indonesian. Though later in the film, they have the Filipino custom of "mano po" where a younger person takes the hand of an older person to their own forehead as a sign of respect. So it was very strange to me. lol Not a big deal, but it just kept me thinking throughout the movie hehe

Also, honestly this series had a pretty brisk pacing for this type of story. You want sloooow? Try Jung Hae In's last two dramas or "Encounter." Not trying to drag Encounter or Something in the Rain, etc. But I personally liked those shows not because of their writing or plots, I'll put it that way.

I really feel robbed of the 4 episodes. This was certainly a slowburn type of drama. But there was certainly plenty of story left on the table to fill four more episodes with. Especially when the supporting cast were all interesting in the own right as well.

Any other Something in the Rain fans here? I could not stop smiling and laughing. If you watched both this show and Something in the Rain, you will know what I'm referring to lol

Does anyone know where they filmed the scenes for the school trip? Especially the scene on the cliff at the end of Episode 6/start of Episode 7? It's beautiful.

It's all worth it in the end. It's certainly not a perfect show, but the time you'll invest I think really makes the final episode very satisfying. And the cast is very charming which helps when things may slow down.

You are not alone. There are others who like it, but think it is overrated.

OMG! I was looking for how to put what I was feeling into words and you just did it with that sentence. Like I get the movie and what it tries to say, but I can't "feel" anything about it, particularly the 2nd half.

The strongest aspect of this drama was that it featured many different aspects of teenage life and different types of characters. While we know who are the obviously leads are, all the characters (teens and adults) showed different every day problems and struggles they go through.

It helps that the show is good and the episodes aren't 2 hours long each like other shows lol

Well actually, i don't hate Jisoo, Mr. Lee or teacher Jo. Or even the detective lol Everyone else can go lock themselves at Banana Club. lol

She wasn't being forced into that line of work. In fact, she was the one begging for MORE work. Even when Mr. Lee was looking out for her and seeing how she was struggling.

And while Gyuri was the first to throw a wrench into Jisoo's efficient operation, it was Minhee's crazy a-- that set the whole final arc in motion, tbh.
