I just finished episode 3, but no matter how you feel about the story, execution, overall concept, you can't deny that the cast (both seasons) just act the hell out of the material (pun intended lol). Just really an amazing cast.
Kim Sung Cheol in those first 15 minutes of episode 1 alone is absolutely captivating.
Before watching season of 2 Hellbound, if you aren't going to rewatch the first season, then The Wrap's refresher is a must read. A clear and concise summary that really explains the first season so well: https://www.thewrap.com/hellbound-season-1-recap-netflix/
Yong's in his early 20's when he meets 1st boyfriend ep1&2. Hes in his mid 20's in 2nd bf. 4th bf hes 27. 3rd…
So the ex who transmitted HIV to him was after Young Soo though, right? I know the series is uniquely split up, but the sense of time can be a bit awkward especially when bingeing the episodes. =)
Was intrigued by seeing him in the teaser of Taste and omg! Hello there! He has a beautiful voice, but his image in the new drama is so different! Really excited to get to know him!
I heard that the webtoon featured a gay character. Soo Hyun is gay and ends up with Yeo Joon's brotherInterestingly,…
I still think the writers and director deliberately included many moments that imply more romantic feelings deep down both the characters, but carefully stopped before they "crossed the line" into something that might get them in trouble. Especially since this drama aired on a broadcast network.
Yet another park jihoon kdrama with him being shipped with the other male lead rather than his supposed love interest…
Point by point: 1. the fl is not boring at all. Actually, there's nothing wrong with her. She's a good character and the actress has good chemistry with Jihoon. But the story between the two male leads was just more dramatic and emotional (and heavy!) 2. Related to point 1, it's a bit complicated because the show definitely includes many specific moments that could be interpreted as being of a romantic nature/tension between the two guys. But the actual plot depicts a very logical foundation for the way their relationship/bond develops. 3. There's a lot of romantic angst between many characters, but it never overpowers the more engaging plot threads of the series. And being a college-focused drama, raging hormones is to be expected and it's handled reasonably well here. 4. Some might call it "bad cliches," others will call it "emotional". There's no question that the series tackles a lot of heavy drama. Some melodrama. But some really strong character-focused drama as well. Especially with the male leads. 5. It is a bit of a slice of life series. It's dramatic and introspective. Sometimes melancholy, but with an uplifting and hopeful message. It's definitely more serious and not some cutesy idol drama, but definitely not depressing. There's a good balance between the lighter and heavier moments.
Park Jihoon is absolutely excellent in this series. Honestly, a stronger performance than in Weak Hero Class. So if you're a fan of his, then you should definitely watch if only just for his performance. His character here has a lot more nuance and complexity. The rest of the cast is great as well. And his chemistry with Bae In Hyuk can absolutely rival that of his other "ships" as well.

They definitely do not need babying or white knights trying to come to their rescue. Especially when the guys are all seemingly fine with each other, if not closer.
Some fans projecting their fantasy couplings and ships onto these guys has crossed the line into something really negative. Especially when fans react so harshly when the guys don't fulfill those fantasies.
!!! Why are people so problematic when it comes to others having different opinions? As fans and viewers of a…
No one has a problem with having an opinion. I think most rational people have a problem with fans of the show personally attacking these guys on their social media and trying to force their fantasy couplings on them.
