if I understood it right, the taller judge is the one who has a restaurant called "mosu" and therefore has the 3 stars! that's exactly why it upset me more that they kept going with the other judges statements often.. but then again maybe it's because of their age gap, Koreans make a big fuss about age hierarchy and their gap is quite big too, still didn't like thar part π₯
it's honestly refreshing to see the ml being able to fight from the beginning, most dramas/movies that are centered around school bullying make the ml be weak and then learn slowly how to fight - that's not a bad thing at all, I'm just saying it's very common and study group stands out to me exactly because it's the opposite. regardless of all the action and heavy topic (bullying), it's very lighthearted and funny, I recommend this
I completely agree with both of your statements! I don't think this gut would have survived the cooking hell + it was unfair since it seems like there wasn't even enough rest for the winner of that, like imagine having to cook for 3 and a half hours, get a small break and then immediately go into the final against someone who could just sit and watch the whole time. yes the two judges often argued about who to let win, a third judge would have avoided all that, besides I don't understand why the smaller judge (sorry forgot his name) always got to decide in the end? why was the other judge not as assertive, like that at least sometimes when they argue they'd go like "OK this time we go with your judgment, bit next time with mine if we vote for different people"
I watched both - hero class and this (although I didn't finish this one yet, halfway done!) I have to say that weak hero class is similar but definitely a bit darker compared to this like the fighting is more intense as well as the bullying, thereβs definitely less comedy/humorous aspects in it compared to study group as well and overall it has a more serious tone - regardless it has the same topics; bullying, friendships, ml wanting to study. I recommend weak hero, I just wanted to point this out bc I didn't see anyone else doing so and the vines are definitely different! have fun if you're watching!
#dont mind me I just don't know how to shut up lmao
It was heeeeeeelarious!!!!! (I didn't see it coming and I was rolling on the floor β I'm still grinning from…
oh really? I had no idea about thar because it's not really my cup of tea and i also rarely watch c drama so I do appreciate you telling me about this! that's just straight up not fine. actually I've heard that there is a Japanese movie or drama about a married couple and the guy is in his late 40s if I remember right and so is his wife, but his wife then turns into a child and in the trailer it seemed like they continued dating despite the now huge age gap, like child as in under 18 years old. I never watched it though, I just remember the trailer, I have no idea if they added kiss scenes there as well or not

oh I'm aware of that, regardless the actor and actress have a big and visible age gap which makes me uncomfortable, it's just my personal opinion and has nothing to do with the actual plot
Honestly I agree with a lot of points that you made but especially the 2nd point, he neglected his own child for…
Right like that was auch a mess and even the end couldn't save that. I personally dont get why arent more people at least questioning it, the excuse that "its just a kdrama, its just fiction" is just not it - such things are literally happening in real life, that children need to grow up with (a) neglectful parent(s) who is addicted to alcohol, i think the message of this whole kdrama was just wrong like.. "it's ok to drink everyday and then stop because you fell in love you can just rebuild your whole trust and love with your child after" thats not how thing's work. Also very unrealistic that he could stop drinking as soon as he wanted the fl. Addictions dont work like that, they dont stop from 100 to 0.. just so disappointing :<

Yes exactly, you are right! And definitely the writer tried to fix the family issues, forcing a sudden "actually we are a happy family now!!" in the last eps. I've also finished this drama although I didn't enjoy it, none of the main cast was likeable in my personal opinion, I also think that the idea with time traveling and trying to make a family bond by making them go through some hardships together is an interesting concept but in this drama it just failed it was just too much and too forced but to each their own of course
Hmm. Lol, I don't even know what to feel about this drama.1. The FL. I didn't like her at the beginning. Her deceit…
Honestly I agree with a lot of points that you made but especially the 2nd point, he neglected his own child for so many years out of self pity and guilt to the point a whole stranger (FL) connected easier with his daughter than her alcoholic father. Not to mention how dangerous exactly this could have been if it wasn't the FL but someone with bad intentions trying to approach the kid. For me personally this was one of the worst kdrama I've seen π
