Is the ML smart/scheming as their counterparts? 4 episodes in and I cant comprehend a kind and innocent ML in this kind of setting

Everything was good, I just didnt like the way she stuttered when she tried to act innocent, it was very distracting and annoying. Oddly reminded me of ML from the kdrama Golden Time. Thankfully it got better later

Nonsensical means it doesn’t make sense. Like when something in the story is strange or crazy, and we don’t understand why it happens.
Assuming from your username, you may a Korean, so basically in simple terms, a really bad makjang
