Also, Yan xi and Hua zhi's relationship (/friendship at this point) is progressing steadily. The way she was miffed at GYX for SY's condition and put forward her thoughts in clear words + how GYX acknowledged her genuine concern without putting on airs that she shouldn't speak on his personal matters(I can visualise almost all MLs in such dramas doing it lol), is so heartwarming. Hope their communication level doesn't drop down to negative when they officially enter in to a r/s with eo🤞🏻
Emperor is giving me creeps from Day 1 with his little actions. He clearly could've stopped GYX from scarring his face if he was such a lovable Uncle but he didn't! He is clearly obsessed with his Throne and Power. I knew ML isn't a fool to trust him blindly. He still has affections for him but is well-aware of his schemes(well, may be not about ALL of his schemes). I'm still not convinced with the 1st Prince, he may backstab later... Royal family is full of hypocrites anyway.
Now, SY will follow Zhi-er and live with Hua family and they already see SY as a gem she is!🩷 Can't wait for further episodes to be released.

That little reunion between Grandpa Hua & Hua Zhi🥺 Grandpa Hua really trusts Zhi-er so much. I really wanted Hua Zhi to tell Uncle PY about Aunt's pregnancy but I can understand why she didn't say anything. I just hope we see both husband and wife happily reuniting at the end.. They are my favourite couple atp♥️
So.. in the end their hua family reputation will be restored right?
No idea.. I have not read the Novel but in the you can see a scene in the ending credits where Hua zhi is hugging Grandpa Hua but I don't think we will have that scene anytime soon.
Hua zhi is so resourceful and brave! I especially like the way she treats the 'elders' in her family- just the right(required) amount of respect + indifference. I'm eager to see her rapport with Grandpa Hua but I'm afraid it will be long before we can see their scenes together. For a change, we're blessed with a FL who knows what to say & when to say it. A breath of fresh air indeed!
