However, if you want to try something different I suggest you to watch Zhou ye in "Scent of Time" drama. It is a historical fantasy drama released last year.

Loved the scene where Gu Xun saw his portrait in Yue Qian Lin's cupboard. He needed to know the depth of her feelings when she proposed to him publicly and he ruthlessly rejected her before even caring to take off the damn mic! She wasn't just crushing on him!! The feelings ran deep and so does the pain that came along with it. He finally understood why she said that she has been wronged🥺 The scene has all my heart🫶🏻

I so agree with you! I hate when people whine about the FL giving cold shoulder to the ML when clearly it's her who suffered due to ML's foolishness and for God's sake! he publicly rejected her and she was humiliated by everyone at her Graduation day. After that when she was in her Move on phase, he continuously invaded her privacy not letting her know that he is her gaming buddy Xiao Cao. Thinking about all this, I think YQL really went soft on him after her initial outbursts tbh

I found this one much better tbh. Other dramas are not upto my taste. I watched a lot and liked many of those but I'd not call them PROPER ROMCOM. Btw I'm only counting modern dramas in here
