For me, I think I can accept the ending but there was plenty of missing in the end. There was no closure to other leads/characters in the drama. This is probably to 40 eps rule imposed but I based my ratings in the drama shown not by novel or leaked script. If only they could have shown it and the final scene in the leaked where TTJ shadow is shown it would have been better. The editing team failed in this regard. They could have cut the flashback scenes instead and cut some during the dream arc to give more space for immortal arc.
Is Susu as a god more powerful than Mingye. She was able to destroy DG eye crossbow easily while Mingye was having hard time against it during fight with ADG. Even Susu mother died from it.

They somehow generalize everthing into "Everyone is leaving at peace" somewhat indicates a super rushed ending.
I accepted what happen to the fate of the main leads but the production should have close other characters stories properly.
They should hire scripwriters that can start, maintain and close the plot of the drama very well. The drama had a strong and promising start but it hasn't been able maintain a strong plot until the end. The actors, cgi, props, fight scene are all very excellent except the plot.
In the tomb of TTJ and YXW, Susu forehead sign is not goddess. I think this is mistake from the production team. They film it together with the demon wedding scene. 😅😅

I'm will be having trust issue with Youku in regards to xianxia dramas ending if TTEOTM is will be OE. At least be specific with the ending ( happy or bad no in between).

There are lot of 1.0 score in douban for the drama. It probably troll campaign and propaganda driven by 3rd parties who wants the drama to fail. Even a worse drama would not have 1.0 score.
Douban is not a gold standard rating imo since anyone even a troll can rate it. There must be safeguards as who can rate it.
On the other hand this drama is breaking xianxia ratings in the last 3-4 years .
It's worst because the novel had already a complete happy ending! Not gonna lie I will never trust any drama made…
There is only 1 ending in the novel which is a happy ending. TTJ , LLS and Ami together in the end. The bad is when TTJ died but he came back after 1000 years. They had a simple happy normal wedding in the mortal world again after LSS find TTJ.
