I think the drama will follow the ending of the novel where Zhou Ye will become the emperor. The drama will skip many chapters in the novel but will have the same conclusion. There is no better ending than having a good emperor, ML being prime minister, FL becoming a successful businessman in the whole empire and a loving daughter for both leads.

Watching the battle between 12 gods and adg have more impact to me than the final battle since it is much longer with no obvious cut scene. The final batlle between TTJ and immortals have plenty of cut scene and bad editing which makes it more less impactful and dramatic.

They could have cut the breakaway s*x between. MY and SJ. I They should cut lot of scenes in the dream arc but maintain the important parts that have impact on the main leads going forward.
