Seung Hee better not be Jae Joon! And if she is, she better be a very good actor and continue to "fool" everyone till at the end when she'll show how she's still herself! I hate the idea of her being brainwashed and abused/tortured to the point that she has become someone else. Nothing, and I really mean nothing, can be worst than ur loved one being tortured to the point that they have broken and have pass the point of no return. If that's what has happened here, then this drama will the most tragic drama ever. Well, that better not be the plot ...

where did u get the stats?

I have downloaded this adblock on my web browser ( google chrome) so I can watch Viki without any adds. Though sometimes Viki makes me disable the adblock and watch the videos with the adds. Though dramafever overrides my adblock and make me watch them. Though I don't like Dramafever that much cause the subs are not really good. So sometimes when there is a drama I want to watch that Viki doesn't have it, I'll go watch through drama.net even though this one breaks the episode to a few parts but the subs are really nice and I don't have to wait for the adds !

I've recently found drama.net so I think I'll use it later for watching Jap dramas as well!

Well I still managed to watch the last episodes of God's Gift and oh my ... it was beyond disappointing!

It was horrible! I never watched/expected a drama that started so strong ed up having such a disastrous ending! I mean it started going down the hill from around episode 12 but I never thought it would go so down!!!
well I don't think I will ever recommend it to anyone!

It was almost as if the writers had amnesia and forgot what they wanted to write, so they basically BS'ed the rest of it! lol !

So sorry for replying late, this week was one of my busiest week ever! I had so much to do and nearly not enough time to do it all, actually I didn't manage to finish some of them :(. However, all the worst is gone now and I'm taking this weekend + Monday off and have travelled with my family to LA ( I live in SF) so hopefully I will recharge before getting back to my hectic schedule.

@_Rosie - yeah ... I'm kind of harsh ^^. 8 means it was good but had some plot holes that left me with some bitter after taste. but when the whole story goes down the drain, when all the characters change for the worst, when many characters are gone/beaten to death/ forgotten for no reason, when at the last min one of the characters goes crazy, I don't see that as a small plot hole ... so there is no way I can rank it anywhere close to 8!

@Drama4lover, I gave it 5 overall, though I might have been too harsh cause the last 2 episodes were very very disappointing to me. I might give it a higher rating ( maximum 6!) if after my emotions calmed down I felt like it deserves it!

This is the evolution of my ranking for this drama:

episode 1 ~ 8 : ranking = 10, comment :OMG, AMAZING, prob the best drama of 2014!! (not sure if it was 8 or maybe sooner, but the first half of the drama was really good)

episode 9 -12: ranking = 9.5, comment: well it's getting a little slow/boring but still AMAZING!!

episode 13-14: ranking=8, comment : The story is losing it's continuity/originality and it's starting to get illogical with MANY plot holes + that horribly written ending of ep 14 ahhhh. so sad it won't be one of my top fav any more. but still it's really good.

episode 15: ranking =6 ok that's it I don't want to watch the rest of it! how did it get so stupid!

episode 16: ranking =5 a waste of time! horrible! horrible! definition of BS!

Interesting article, though I don't agree with some of your rankings.

Starting with the one that I least agree with : to me innocent man is one of the worst written + most overrated dramas. Therefore Park Shi Yeon is one of the most annoying illogical villains/characters (well I don't really see her a villain, she was more like a very unfortunate stupid character that suffered many psychological problems)!

I haven't watched any of the other dramas in your "something to sink your teeth into", so I cannot say anything about those. Though I have to say for me, Park Ki Woong is one of the best well written characters ever, both between villains and non villain characters. Jin Piyo is another amazingly written/developed villain. So yeah. But still I enjoyed reading your article, it's true that we all enjoy a good villain! cannot wait for my next awes

I really wanna get back to watching A Man's Story & JIN. they've been on my watching list for a while now ( specially JIN!!) ... I think I won't start a new drama till I finish those! I have to stop procrastinating ... and start studying and watching my dramas/movies ! :D lol !! Well "fighting" !! hope we both get better at watching our dramas!

The thing is I'm so busy with my school, and have less than a month left till my finals so I have to really focus. or at least that's what I tell myself ... :D since I'm still procrastinating lol I don't know if you noticed but I finished let's eat in 2.5 days !!
I liked Let's eat, it was so warm and cute! I like the fact that the main character was mature, she wasn't stupid or acting like a kid. and I loved the fact that she was well stablished, well I mean she had her life together, she had her home, her friend, her work and a good relationship with her family. It was one of those dramas that I could watch for hours!
I could have done without all the food captions, but I loved the parts that Yoon Doo Joon would explain the food. the first few episodes I didn't really care for it (it was entertaining and that's it) but then when he explained pizza I was like OMG this is so true!

As for movies, I can like anything! I really like artsy movies and have no problem with gore! I'm basically open to everything with the precondition of great storyline !
It's kind of hard to say what I like, since I like everything! I just hate stupid plots, or the ones with horrible ending (not a sad ending but a useless ending)

I noticed that the first pic in your profile is from 3-iron! I will watch it for sure, don't know when though! Thank you so much for your recommendations! I will check them out soon :D. I started watching Sassy Girl, but I stopped after like 30 min. Not sure if it was because I was too tired or because I wasn't interested enough! don't know, I might pick it up again!

OMG I couldn't agree more with you about the mean secondary characters! They're the most annoying drama invention ever! This is one more reason I don't like Cunning Single Lady, it has one of the most annoying secondary characters ever!

And about not liking the more popular romance dramas, I have to say Boys Before Flower is one of the worst dramas ever! I consider it as a drama made for kids(not teenagers since I assume teenagers have higher level of intelligence I think if I add the times that I enjoyed the drama it won't be more than 1 hr, I only enjoyed scenes here and there. The only reason I forced myself to finish it is because of its popularity!

I did enjoy You're beautiful though, not because it was well written, but because it reminded me of when I was younger, of the first love and all the childish things that goes with it! It made me feel very nostalgic!

OMG you're getting to the part in The Princess' Man that I love! ooohhh I'm getting so excited :D lol ! I think I'll rewatch it with you so we can discuss it together!

Yeah, at the beginning I was getting annoyed with Se Ryung for not telling him her identity, specially when she had a second chance. But I understand her, knowing full well that their families are enemies, telling him her identity was basically ending their relationship and any hope for their future. She is such a strong character, the way she gave up on everything just to save him is very praiseworthy. I love her so much!!!

I know I love Jung Kyung Ho as well! I'm counting the days for his next drama! In the mean time, since you like Jung Kyung Ho, I strongly recommend you to watch Smile, You. He's character is the total opposite of Doctor's Son in Cruel City. He's such a talented actor! Smile, You might seem cheesy, slow and even annoying at the beginning. But keep watching it, you will not regret it! At least I didn't, if anything I was blown away! It's such a unique drama, it made me feel so many raw emotions! part of it might have been that some of the plot twists were too close to home for me, but regardless It's an amazing drama!

Since you've like Cruel City and City Hunter, I think you might also enjoy Nine:Nine Times Time Traveling and Two Weeks. They're both action driven with smart main leads :D Also, The Bridal Mask is AMAZING! it's so intense! and trust me, u'll become a Joo Won fan in no time!

I really enjoyed Faith, it's one of my favorite dramas and the one that I have rewatched the most (five times to be exact). I know a lot of ppl didn't like it as much as I loved it. It's true that the political aspect of the storyline is not the best, and it does have quite a few flaws. But I just love the characters/character development as well as how their relationships develops, not only the leads but the supporting characters as well. So for me, Faith is not a cleverly written puzzle to figure out, but rather an amazing love story, one that moves you to the core. It's one of those love stories that you want to hear it again and again, The ones when you're younger you hear and are amazed how can someone love like that. Their story of falling in love, and their journey. This is the kind of feeling it gives me and that's why I love it!!

Oh recently I've heard of the movie "As One" it seems really really interesting, I really want to watch it. But since it seems sad, so I'll wait till when I'm feeling more happy ! lol !

I don't pay much attention to the rating of dramas in this website ( though it still does kind of bother me when awesome dramas don't get as much attention as they deserve.) and I pay even less attention to the rating of the movies, specially after watching secretly, greatly! like really ... 8.34 !! So I was googling to find some better critically/internationally acclaimed movies. But didn't decide on watching any of them yet. I would greatly appreciate it if you could recommend a good one !

I started watching Let's Eat, mainly cause I was depressed and wanted to watch something random and fun. ( that and the fact that i watched the first episode with Eat Your Kimchi on the black day)
It's entertaining, pretty good I might add. oh and Yoon Doo Joon is not only eye candy but a rather good actor!

At the beginning I was so amazed by the drama, I thought it would be competing with my top 5, but srsly if I compare it to Nine, or Two Weeks - the ones with the same type of plot- , it looses so easily! so yeah ! we'll see how it goes!

I haven't watched that many korean movies, only three. my third one ( or rather the first korean movie that I watched) is My P.S. Partner. It might seem stupid at the beginning but I really enjoyed it! It had a very interesting psychologically engaging storyline. I don't know if you have watched Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, it kind of reminded me of it. Obviously not as amazing or unique but a more realistic/simpler version of it. Also, Ji Sung, one of my favorite actors, is the main actor. I find him truly talented and his acting in My P.S. Partner was yet again very impressive.

I think the confusing part of God's Gift is that they give so many random small facts, that seem unrelated to one another. They seem like random details and we don't know how much attention we have to pay attention to them ! You know, when watching this I feel like the story is very very very simple, but the writers are basically trying to confuse us with random incidents, like the first few episodes, different guys were taking as actual culprits. which I found rather pointless and unrealistic.

Oh not to mention that I hate how they end ep 14! The way they dealt with Woo Jin's character just made me deduct at least one point! It was the weakest part of the drama till now.
