Honestly, the main reason I decided to watch Genie, Make a Wish for Me was because of Song Hye-kyo. She rarely does cameos in dramas, so that immediately caught my attention. I mean, I like Kim Woo-bin and Bae Suzy too they’re total faves but Hye-kyo just hits different. That’s why I gave it a shot. Ended up finishing the whole thing in one day! The last two episodes were kind of a pain in the neck, but I powered through anyway. My review? “Not good, but not bad.” Just somewhere in the middle.

TBH, it was such a great show! I actually put it on hold for a while after episode 15 since it has a total of 38 episodes. The main leads became a couple pretty early on, and in most long C-dramas, the last 10 episodes usually focus on romance or a marriage arc. So I wasn’t sure how the ending would go I thought maybe the focus would shift more toward romance instead of the cases and Shen Wan’s father. So yeah, it was on hold for months, and honestly, I was this close to dropping it. But then I decided to give it another try, and even though it started to get a bit boring after episode 16, episode 19 totally hooked me again!

I'm done with this damn drama! I wasted every freaking Friday on it, and for what? It was decent until episode 8, but episode 9 completely ruined it. Honestly, *Rain in Espana* was way better than this mess! and yeah that yuri character does not even give me the JAPANESE character vibe....only if the mature character feel is- sorry there is noone mature in it.

I first watched this drama while it was airing, solely for Seo In-guk—I’ve adored him since *Master’s Sun*. He’s genuinely a comedic and chaotic personality in real life as well; he even admitted as much in the promotional video for "Doom at Your Service". It’s no surprise that all his dramas are next-level hilarious, especially when it comes to tantrums "Shopping King Louis" being a prime example.
Now, nearly three years later, I’ve decided to rewatch "Café Minamdang", but this time, I find it somewhat exasperating due to the female lead. The first time around, I never really paid much attention to her, but for some reason, this time, she’s *exceptionally* irritating.

Huh, I rewatched it today for the fourth time, and it’s still refreshing! Even after knowing all the plot twists, I don’t get bored at all because it still catches my attention. Like, bruh, I’ve never watched any K-drama more than twice since I always find them boring after that. But this one is different. I guess the only other drama I’ve rewatched multiple times is *It’s Okay to Not Be Okay*, and that was just three times.

Not this shit again. I’m DONE with this situation. I have my own life, my own work, and I’m not here to play defense for either of them. Y’all ignored her when she was struggling, treated her like she didn’t exist, bullied her like trash and now you’re doing the exact same thing to him. The hypocrisy is unreal. Keep me out of this mess.
