I wish I could rate this drama as "OK, nothing too spectacular," but when I compare it to other dramas, I understand why some people are willing to give it a 10.
This is a solid, easy-to-watch business romance drama. The business and romance plots are well integrated.
The romance doesn’t have much drama. There’s no sudden fire and passion, but there’s also no unnecessary melodrama - just a supportive relationship between two mature people. That's why I think classifying this drama under the "Life" genre is very accurate.
In terms of the main leads' relationship, this one reminds me of King the Land, but there’s noticeably less passion here than in KtL. That said, KtL falls short in other aspects where Love Scout does well - such as pacing.
