Oh it's so bombastic fantastic... but what did I just watch?
For the most part this drama is fast paced action about a superhero that saves lives.
Is it a medical drama? Well... Yes, of course - it shows cases that can happen in real life and you could show it to teenagers to motivate them to become doctors. But Is it realistic in the way the doctors do their jobs? I don't know, but I hope it's not. I don't think constant running through a crowded hospital is something doctors should be doing (safety reasons). I would also like the medical staff to put the medical waste in the bin rather than throw it on the ground where a surgeon can step on it and slip while doing their job. I hope if the medics need to do anything that requires precision they will stop the ambulance, do it and then move again... these are just some examples.
To make things short: If you're after some action drama with some humour and you don't care too much about realism then this show should be great for you. Most of the time it's fast paced, it has some twists to make you entertained.
If you're looking for something with depth, that makes you think about world and value of life and stuff like that, then go watch something else. This one is for entertainment, not for thinking 😉
First episodes were amazing with colour play, action, switching between standard and "comic" video, and engaging plot. Then every episode felt like a separate story - some of them good, some just average. Final episodes were interesting. I expected something more, but it was ok.
If you are considering watching this drama: - There are only 2 good things about this drama for me: beautiful actresses (some say the ML is handsome - I don't know) and kissing scenes (and there's A LOT of them). - Everything else is just bad. The story is exceptionally bad and can be harmful to the core of your humanity. - If you really want to watch this for the leads, consider muting audio (if you know Chinese) and ignoring/turning off subtitles. Just enjoy the nice pictures without thinking about what is going on and why. Maybe that way you can save yourself from being drawn into madness 😉

That is a bit strange as it is the comedy that makes it watchable and sometimes even enjoyable.
