The ml is unlikable. He only wants sex. I don’t see that as love but only lust
True, and ML is clearly abusing the FL. There are so many red lights here: 1. The drama starts with a sexual abuse - ML is having sex with drugged FL + he is married (and he doesn't know she's his wife so from his perspective he's cheating) 2. He's kissing her without her consent (+he's married...) 3. He's touching her her while she sleeps and he sleeps next to her bed while they're not in a relationship (+he's married...) 4. Even when she tells him that she's married he ignores that and forcefully kisses her - it looks like an attempted rape (he ignores that they are both married) 5. ...and that all happens in the first 11 episodes. I don't know what's next.
The actors are beautiful but the story... I mean if it was a thriller with not so optimistic ending then it could be ok I guess. But this is not a thriller and this drama seems to romanticise sexual abuse 😞

I liked season 1 a lot more than season 2. In season 2, there’s just so much talking versus so little action and romance. Even when there could be action, it’s skipped, and the characters just talk about what happened instead of showing it to us. :( I think season 1 was much better at balancing politics, action, and romance. After seeing season 1, I thought I was wrong for thinking that I’m not a fan of historical dramas, but now I guess it must be true.
Anyway, the whole story was still quite interesting, and the acting was really good in my opinion. If you like historical dramas with a lot of politics and some romance, this drama should be satisfying for you.
