Offroad seems to have improved his acting again, judging from the trailer. Or maybe the different kind of character is responsible for this. :D i am super excited for this drama. Most ships always act out the same kind of dynamic and it gets boring pretty fast, but compared to century of love, this looks so different and fresh. Love it. :>
Really enjoyed it in the beginning but later the frustration was too high. Ep 15 + 16 have too many flashbacks. The characters act stupid sometimes and watching the long drama feels unrewarding. Too many fails and loses. Rushed ending + open. Some things don't get explained at all. I liked Lee, although his choices were questionable a lot of times. Park Hae Young was by far my fave. Poor him... So hyun... Was unfortunately way too often the stereotypical annoying female character. 7/10.
interesting because i loved business as usual and i really like the director since happy merry ending. also this…
The same goes here. If the plot is your issue, its not the directors fault, as explained above. Happy merry ending wasnt written by her either, just like BaU.
Lol. Obviously Akane and Naoki. But the drama focuses on music, since its a music drama lol. So the romance isnt…
Do it! Just sit through the tough spots, to enjoy the phenomenal music! At the end i gave it an 8 bc beides all the trashy plotlines, the music is phantastic. Just as to expect from the composer. π₯°

Depends on what you call a good end lmao. Its rushed, but no one dies π and fun? Yeah well. Most of the time Naoki is just insanely obsessed with writing songs, akane is in love..or drowning in low self-esteem, sho is naokis babysitter, or drama with the other producer hits. Xd
Before I start I just want to know who are the main ship β¦. Please
Lol. Obviously Akane and Naoki. But the drama focuses on music, since its a music drama lol. So the romance isnt that present (thank god bc its so plain and unnecessary)
To be clear, Episode 1: Before Akane joined the new band. Their former lead singer has run off and not died?
You mean Tenblanks? The female manager was supposed to be the singer in the band, but then Naoki wanted to sing himself - its a new found band, not one that already existed, hence he looked out for Akane bc they needed a drummer, too.
They shouldnt have include the romance. This was absolutely unnecessary. While some people complain the pacing…
Especially when they perform with Toya, i was absolute on fire!! Those were my fave scenes.
But the FL was annoying so many times (hence why i say cut the crap with the stupid love story thats not necessary at all, cut out some bs drama and fill the drama with music, backstories of the members and more bromance) would have totally fine if sensei would have stay a sensei to akane. No need to squish in romance T_T
They shouldnt have include the romance. This was absolutely unnecessary. While some people complain the pacing was too fast, it felt too slow for me. Everything about the drama that has to do with music is perfect. The OST is amazing (nothing else is expected from the RADWIMPS singer, who is the composer) and the cinematography is also nice, especially in episode 1 and 9.
But in between it feels like the drama gets lost all the time. So many plotlines that weren't really necessary.
I give it an 8, because i really love the soundtrack. Izs purely for the music and the concerts. Fr. The performances made me teary almost every time. The songs are such bangers and the atmosphere in those scenes is crazy good. But the romance, the annoying drama and the feeling of being lost in this show was a bummer. In episode 9 i was even thinking about only giving an 6, because aside from the music and the performances, its really more on the weaker side. I dont really have much problems with the ending, but ive seen some ppl calling it lazy writing and although i dont have an issue with it, i can totally see where they coming from and can agree to this point.
I'll add something more in the next comment, since its a bit of a spoiler.
every character was more likeable than Naoki and Akane. She drifts to end up like the stereotypically female prota and i hate them, lol.
It would have been a masterpiece if they had focused on the music without all the useless crap in between, which just made it hard to get through the episodes.
