Eng subs for ep 10 on wetv are missing. Even ep 9 is still not subbed, wth 😭 i love to pay for streaming services, bc im able to watch the newest episode with subs as soon as its released, but not when the service doesnt serve eng subs, lmao. Over a week for ep 9 and still no subs? Disappointing. Ridiculously to pay for something when it doesnt deliver. 😭🫡

Nah, the wife IS a bitch and no, they dont end up together. She breaks off the contact, doesn't let him say anything, his heart is getting worse, she flies to hawaii, he visits her the last time, telling her his health is perfectly fine but his body accepts the heart now, so the memories fade away and he wants her to say goodbye to yusuke. Then he went back to japan and his wife, dies there later and she lives normally. And his wife invites her to the apple harvest and wants to see her every year. Personally im disappointed in the end bc the last episode was just full of nothing. We didnt see how it went right after he died etc. And I expected indeed a lovestory, so im annoyed with this, too. 😂 especially since the wife was hella unlikable.

Its not a nowadays thing, its a region thing. Japanese dramas being 25-30 min long is absolutely normal. I dont call them short dramas either. Short length series on MDLs are shows with 15 and less minutes per episode iirc and miniseries are shows with 10 or less episodes. Japan releasing miniseries is normal bc thats a certain kind of dramas that air on a certain program at a certain time. :D just like its usual that chinese dramas tend to have 36+ episodes. 🤷🏻‍♀️

But i also understand the son. He seems not aware of the fact that she only killed abusive men. And with all the hatred he carries inside, i wouldn't give a flying fck about her, too. He doesnt notice all the little things bc his priority is to keep the secret hidden and stay with his wife - which is, like i said, from his POV totally understandable! I love when characters are complex like this.

And i love that its only 8 episode bc the chances are high that it keeps this quality. My problem with kdramas is usually the dragging toward the end, but with 8-10 episodes, they do quite well.

It was so satisfying when Jung I Sin banged his head against the gitter. 😂 It really showed how much she cares for her son, even if its not visible on the surface and she just seems like a crazy psycho b*tch. But the whole time he talked about exposing her, she didnt care. But the moment he mentioned her son, her face dropped. And bringing the wife in made her snap completely. I LOVE what this tells us about her character. That she deeply cares for her son and wants him to be happy and free of the burden she put on him. She went as war as suffocating him, knowing this could potentially bring hard consequences to her. And i dont think she solemny did this bc shes missing hurting people. If that would be the case, she would have snapped earlier already.

Right? And the tension is so thiiick. I love it.

Episode 2 was a great follow up. I really enjoy the nuances in every scene.
