WTF!!! The age gap between the main leads is fucking 24 years. Who the fuck pairs cast with such a huge age difference…
May i ask you: why the fuck not?! Its a show that tells a story about a couple with an age gap and its a fucking JOB, so get over it and just watch something else if you dislike it. Its so annoying to read under every show the crying comments about pressed people who cant get over an age gap. The actors arent forced to take on a role, so if they are okay with it, everyone else should shut up. π₯°
Absolutely! I dropped this drama for now because its just so slow and repetitive. Maybe i will pick it up again, but for now i have better stuff to watch.
What a beautiful drama! Originally, i didnt want to watch it, but finally i fell so hard for japanese dramas, that i thought "why not?" and i dont regret it. its a really heartwarming story. i dont like angst and for everyone who hesitates to watch it, because they assume its angsty: GO WATCH IT. for me, its not a sad ending at all and its really not that angsty at all!
sure, its not for people who look for a bl with kisses etc, but for people who enjoy chinese bls/bromances, it could definitely be a hit. they exchange glances, they hug, they do some sort of skinship (kouki likes to touch the wings :D) and for me, it didnt lack anything. usually i prefer shows with heavy skinship, steamy kisses, sexual content etc, but this drama was so pure and heartwarming that i didnt miss all those things. the way they look at each other gave me everything i need.
No! from my interpretation, they actually end up together. they spend a happy day on a trip together and the angel disappears (which was predictable because they assumed, if the angel becomes happy, he will be gone). you see that kouki gets sad for a period of time, but then he becomes very hopeful and you see him working. the ending scene is hella abruptly, but from my interpretation, kouki dies suddenly and ends up together with the angel again.
this is way to similar to 'I became a main lead in a BL'
Not really. The only crossover is: actors in a bl show try to get closer to each other. Thats not "too similar". Its just a nice trope, that is used here. There are multiple other shows out there with the same tropes, because you cant come up with totally new stuff for everything.. and i also dont share the opinion that the leads look alike. π
I am very glad that I am able to help a fellow drama lover. May I ask how did you come across this drama? It's…
I would like to throw in a recommendation. :D Long Vacation. Its a great drama. super chill, but i found the characters quite interesting. well, the brother of the fl is cheating, but its not really romanticized and not for a long time. and the ost is great. the whole vibe was very nostalgic for me x)
I already loved Takaishi Akari when she played the JK in the show about her with the teacher and i remember how someone mentioned in the subtitles that she really talks fast π its comfy that she has a scene here too, where she talks really fast π
Okay, first things first, I do not approve of any actions these two did in the movie. I do not support rape, kidnapping,…
The rating is the typical example of MDL users rating japanese stuff. Most of the stuff that is rated so low isnt that bad. Japanese shows just touch heavy topics and cross boundaries and most of the people who rate it, dislike this stuff in particular, so mdl ratings are pretty much irrelevant xd
I know you didnt ask me, but BL has a pretty solid definition and not every gay romance is automatically BL. This movie isnt a bl story, but still a gay romance. At least in my opinion. (:
