You find it cute because the main lead is cheating. But suddenly it is frowned upon when the main lead is cheated…
I think it depends on the setting. the dude in marry my husband is not only cheating, but also treats his wife like shit, which made it even worse. i havent read much opinions on the drama, since i planned to watch it, but personally for me the cheating isnt that big of a deal, its the whole attitude/behaviour towards her. but yeah, i get your point. dependable on how cheating is portrayed and in which context, it can be heavier or lighter on the mood of a show/movie.
just wanted to let you know that your review was the reason i gave the movie a chance. i almost finished it and i already saved the manga now, to read it later. thanks!
You talk about a movie as if they are real people, so yeah, i just wanted to make sure you know that this is not real. It's not that healthy to get that worked up about fictional stuff. And guess what, if you dislike teacher x student tropes..how about..just not watch it? Or are you unsatisfied, if you cant rant about fictional stuff, already knowing that you wont like it? :D
Im on episode 8 rn and i wish won seok would just dump ho rang. She is so annoying, selfish, manipulative and abusive omg u.u
Edit: episode 10 and this show has really only 2 things i cant stand: Ho Rang and those annoying habit of every character (especially Ji Ho) who eats with their mouth full of food and audible chewing sounds. Ffs, if your mouth is so full that no one can understand a word, just finish swallowing before you speak, its not that hard. 😒
Your comment makes it look like everything about this drama was already set but BTS hopped on the midway and suddenly…
The drama is literally the bts universe story. 😂 so im wondering that people are turned off by the fact its connected to bts, when its literally their universe. :D you dont need to know anything about bts, since its a fictional story and not related to the reality.
Well, im pretty sure the quote from the director on his mdl page is accurate. "“Originally, my intention wasn’t to make a gay film, it was to make a personal film,” he says. “This is about my first love, and my first love happened to be a story of a boy liking another boy.” So i doubt he intended to do a bl. :D not every drama/movie that has two gay leads is a BL and since this movie is based on the directors life, of course its more a queer movie than a bl.
Ugh. Dropping this at five eps. SO juvenile and silly...the guy talking to himself/us so he can share the recipe…
i am watching the movie right now, without having seen the other shows related to this (after your comment i dropped season 1 after 2 episodes, because i am not in the mood to watch stuff like this and i dislike shows without kisses, tbh) and i am so confused about shiros parents, because in the movie, they dont want him to visit on NY's eve again (because the mother couldnt stand it to see her son with a man the previous year) and its so weird, because in the first episode she seemed so supportive?! :'D
its been a while that a movie made me cry so much. unfortunately i found takuma not sooo likeable. got the feeling he only got back to mayu because the other girl died, which was a bit of a bummer for the second half of the movie.
As much as i love the lead actors, this movie wasnt it. If a man would leave me without a word and comes back after a year with this dumb reason, he could gladly stay away, lol.
