Do you think he was in cahoots with Yang Xian? What a snake! All timid, shy and plotting behind our backs? Scandalousš±
Considering Leshan slapped that He Guangyuan, he and his family mustāve decided to wed with that other bride instead and choosing money and power (considering that the other bride comes from a noble and wealthy family background). Which, if this turns out to be the case, he doesnāt deserve Leshan anyway.
Have never liked DYX since the moment he appeared and hate him even more now. He carries this air of arrogance…
Also adding that this is the kind of marriage youāll never want in real life. Itās just like torturing yourself. DYX hurts SH at every chance. Even if they somehow, for some dumb reason, reconcile in the future, itās gonna be numbing. Thereās no way of going back, it just wonāt be the same anymore.
Tbh Iām getting tired of all these misunderstandings, lack of trust, not communicating with each other, etc. Might drop it if this drags on or if itās the same for fourth and fifth sistersā storylines.
Have never liked DYX since the moment he appeared and hate him even more now. He carries this air of arrogance and pretentiousness that I just canāt stand. SH is too good for him. Heck, even his friend would be a better match. I hope he never makes a comeback and ends up miserable. Hope SH either meets someone she loves and finally is able to choose for herself instead of sacrificing her family, or she can stay happily alone.
I started this drama because I liked the lead actors and actresses and thought the premise was interesting. I tried to keep an open mind, especially the messy marriage between 2nd daughter and her husband (cheating and abuse), but itās getting harder. Two things that were said in recent episodes that were hard to let go:
1. Chai An suggesting they pretended the girls were still kidnapped, especially towards the 2nd daughter to make her āobedient.ā The horror of not knowing and waiting in terror of what would be done to her all night, possibly preparing to be raped or killed, was unimaginable and unforgivable.
2. The confidence, borderline gaslighting, to say that no one else can love Kang Ning like him. If something like this is said to you by a romantic partner, run.
The drama just started and people are already hating it (your view is yours though, whatever you feel, you rule).…
Agree with what you said. I donāt mind the misunderstandings so far since Chai An and Kang Ning barely talked and up to episode 4 so far, it was mainly setting the stage for everything else to unfold. We have plenty of time.
eps 30-40 were messy ngl ... it got confusing and everything. the director could've done better with the ending…
The novel is way better in this last arc. No messy last minute plots, no dragging (a lot of things in the drama in this last arc were made up and not in the novel) and main characters loving and accepting each other as is, with all their past and everything. Plus super lovey dovey ending.
Agree with everything you said, I just canāt and wonāt buy this whole āFate was a hidden heroā cause this past actions didnāt align with this sudden narrative. Fate was manipulated asf and so were the writers. All of Fateās evil deeds were erased just like that while Zhao Ming suffered soooo much, only to relive it again, and never accepted or loved by Mu Xuanling. The drama did a huge injustice to the novel, changing the underlining essence of the main charactersā love and the suffering of Zhao Ming. Iād suggest reading the novel, especially for the last arc, cause there wasnāt any nonsense like this. They loved all incarnations and versions of each other and had a very happy ending in the Dark Abyss.
Aweee can I say, I was a big disappointed with the last ten episodes. It was 11/10 until we got to the Zhao Min & Ah Zhu arc from ten thousand years ago and it started to drag. Iām not buying whole Hao Tian being the big bad villain and Book of Fate being a āheroā all this time. It felt forced and none of Book of Fateās actions made sense to fit that narrative (especially forcing marriage). Not to mention the whole communicating with their old selves from 10,000 years ago, having to relive everything again, itās just too much and honestly, way too unfair for Zhao Ming. It was too messy, too much shenigans, and as if the first suffering wasnāt bad enough he had to relive all that pain again.
I did appreciate it when the drama gave extended arcs to characters like Sang Qi and Fu Lanshengās parents, but wouldāve preferred it if the drama followed the book closely for the ending. In the book, Mu Xuanling loved Xie Xuechen/Zhao Ming/Demon Lord as he is, and vice versa. The way they hated each other in the drama pained me, especially since we hadnāt had any happy moments or intimacy between the leads since the mid ep 20s and then just a couple mins of reuniting for the ending. If you want a better last arc and ending, the novel is much better. Like they had naughty time on the ship on their way to Snow City after Mu Xuanling got her feelings back and Xie Xuechen casted a sound barrier in their room, but Nan Xueyue was fuming with vinegar cause the act itself was so telling of what was happening inside hahaha. Not to mention, the seven days at the end in the Dark Abyss lol. Anyways, I hope that this drama open lots of opportunities for our three leading actors in the future cause they were phenomenal, especially Sun Zhenni who had her first main role. It was good to read and conversed with everyone here. See yāall at the next drama!
Please rate each episode individually if youāre loving this drama! ā¤ļø Iām so sad there are many haters who downvoted even the episodes that havenāt aired yet.
Lemme just say the screenwriters are freaking brilliant! šššThey took majority of the novel as the main…
Couldnāt have phrased it better. š This may be the few where the drama is better than the novel. I canāt say enough about how much I love the extensions and closures to the side charactersā stories.
the actual yun weishan got knocked out in ep 1, idk wht u mean
Yes, but itās possible theyāre twins or sheās from the Yun family. Esther also dubbed the Yun Weishan that got knocked out, so thereās probably something there.
What if Yun Weishan is really her real identity or at the very least, she was from the Yun family and just forgot everything from her past (although we technically donāt know her real name)?
I just realized that we forgot to question something. We know there's a Wufeng spy who has gotten into the Gong Residence and survived there for almost twenty years and didn't contact Wufeng during those years. How did he/she survived all these years without the antidote? Does that mean the spy found a loophole or cure regarding the poison all the agents have?
I'm still amazed by his extraodinary performance in Love and Redemption. For sure he's one of the best actors I've ever seen. I can't wait to see his future works!
