That was a violin version of another track that I liked in the drama with a female voice around 6:50 in that same episode (waiting for the BGM OST if they release those) they had 31 different OSTs but kept using that one song for the majority of the drama 🤣 I actually liked the piano intro but the final chorus felt like it was shouting out at me

Yura and her mom reminds me of the villain daughter & her mom from Come! Jang Bo Ri (also pretty addictive) Second Husband has replaced my void of watching AMIAV, Uhm Hyun Kyung has better chemistry with her newer ML than here. For some reason I'm always more amused/entertained watching villains than good guys that's why I love makjang 😂

Yep she's the villain, Seon Hwa and Sang Hyuk were in a de facto marriage with a baby but he cheats on her and went after Jae Kyung for wealth. But even after marriage later Sang Hyuk still has lingering feelings for Seon Hwa meanwhile Jae Min also started to like her. After she comes out of jail she is pretending to still be in love with Sang Hyuk so she can take advantage of his feelings and get evidence out of him. JK gets jealous/annoyed obviously and JM didn't like him either when he found out about him cheating on SH and marrying JK instead yet he still continues to see her now after marriage.
Side couple story of ahjumma lady (Kyung Yi) who lives with Sang Hyuk's mom (Mal Ja) two-timing with the bakery man Dal Bong (who offers to pay her debts) and some other weird dude (Chil Soo) who Mal Ja fell in love with at first sight. Sang Hyuk's sister Sang Mi had a crush on Seo Jun who saved her from choking at a supermarket but no romance happened between them so far.

same. HS was more fun to watch but for some reason the writer favors KS, their love story wasn't that convincing for me in the beginning. I am still continuing Second Husband it's pretty addicting so far, it's great for binge watching the ML there is also cute with the FL, unless the ending isn't good I don't think you will be disappointed with that drama compared to this one.

Eventually HK found out Gemma was actually KHS' daughter not from her ex-husband since they have the same rare blood type, then JH finds out too since she hid the DNA test behind her painting but it fell out on the floor. HK's secretary was actually a double agent working with JH. KHS tricks Gemma to meeting an interviewer from the mattress incident but actually wants to kill her off in some secluded place with some men holding her and a man stabs her but JH tells MK to call him to stop what he's doing, KHS finds out she is his daughter and brings her to the hospital to save her with his blood. KHS feels guilty for everything and turns himself in. Also the grandma found out HK ex husband was her own son and thinks Gemma is her granddaughter, thus being angry and sending Lora bank promissory notes, no one wanted to help KHS with loans. JH wants to save Lora since the company was originally from his grandfather. Grandma said she will save the company if HK steps down as CEO. JH became CEO instead while Gemma became co-CEO.
Last ep HK reveals to Gemma who her real dad is while saying the ex raped her the day he took her in and how he was abusive. Later she drives off in high speed while her inner self is talking to her through a mirror. Gemma visits KHS later in jail and went abroad to study shoes.
10 year time skip KS is still in love with Gemma and even jokes about waiting another 5 years to marry her. The grandma eventually died since Gemma visits her in the columbarium with the dad/brother. JH is the Chairman and HB is CEO. HK is all alone where she first started (but the setting is dark and gloomy with only the sunlight shining in), she is making a pair of flat shoes, Gemma visits her with a gift of red high heels that she designed which looks similar to the one from ep 1 that HK tried on but she swears to never wear heels again. She tells her to move on from the past. Gemma says she will visit again and leaves smiling later but HK pines for her daughter while in a wheelchair from her accident.

I think it is understandable since there was a final scene between them of HK revealing to Gemma about her real dad and the ex husband actually being a rapist/abuser, which is hard for her to take in and this is why HK was always bitter towards Gemma..
at least she is happy in the ending.

there was a phone call of HS in one of the last eps with a foreign chick talking in the background but he didn't even show up anymore

She became crazy (literally) after the FL almost marries him but HB became a CEO in the last episode (time skip). The funny thing is she actually got along with her when she was in that state 🤣

Looks like she’s single and happy in the ending, which is nice but I wonder if she’ll even marry KS the poor man has been waiting forever for her 😂 a 10 year timeskip felt like too much.

*ending theme plays triumphantly in the last ep with final chorus* 🙄 I’m surprised to see no one else complaining about that song except for me. I think that other OST song “It was tears” would’ve fit the mood better.

At first she was more like a spoiled brat but she became more of a villain after finding out Gemma was related to her and became more jealous/possessive over Hyun Seok

Last scenes of HK felt creepy sitting all alone in a rundown shop looking older with wrinkles and her hands are dirty (?) or bruised (I almost thought she was dying of illness)
would've been more fun to see the ending resemble that of beginning ep 1 scene HK being interrogated in a dark room, and wanting to be the immortal MHK/Lora CEO until the bitter end.
Good for HS he avoided all that mess/drama going on.
KS is such a loyal man 😂 HB still crazy or is recovered?
KHS only felt remorse because Gemma is their real daughter 🙄
that "rape" reveal was disturbing, NGL I think he actually deserved to be hit by a car (but even that seems like a quick death for him) he didn't even know who she was and took advantage of her like that? It would've made more sense if he fell in love with her somewhere before and wanted to steal her from KHS.

I don't like her attitude towards her either - she is too harsh on SH compared to everything that JK did, even if HR doesn't like her at least it'd be better for both of them to team up against JK since they have a common enemy? But with k-drama logic SH will have to be the nice FL to forgive her for all those misunderstandings and slaps in the face.

I gotta praise him for being a loyal man though waiting 10 years for her like that 😂

I loved LHW that's my favourite daily for some reason lol I actually liked the other 3 though GR/FP/AMIAV were addicting but MM sucked all around and APITS was too boring for me. This one had potential but got draggy with the brothers love triangle and lack of revenge plot (JH, the secretary and the grandma were the ones who were actually doing the revenge in the end while FL is saved by birth secret plot armor) if Gemma wasn't HS' daughter she should've been dead in the ending and the father wouldn't even feel remorse for what he did.
The next daily isn't even a makjang but this should give writers the time to write better dailies.. I'm just continuing to watch Second Husband for now.

ah.. that sucks as someone who prefers makjang over slice of life dramas, I got addicted to this timeslot because of Gracious Revenge but I'm conflicted whether to try this out or not, maybe I might actually like it.
But I see this as an opportunity for writers to take their time to write more exciting dailies than the previous 2 that aired/felt like filler dramas ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

which is why it made no sense for them to stay in each other's bodies forever - don't they want to get married with the original guys' bodies instead if they truly loved them? That is weird, marrying your ex's body and having kids with them even though it's not really them..
