Likewise. Before I started it, I'd read so many awful things about it. But then once I started watching it, it…
Yeah that was the first drama I watched from this writer back when it was airing, it was pretty crazy/addicting! I loved watching the villains in TLE, Shin Eun Kyung was also in it as the Empress Dowager. It was pretty funny when another drama Zombie Detective made a reference on TLE since Choi Jin Hyuk and Tae Hang Ho were in the same drama again. It's a comedy/mystery but I'd recommend that too, it is also fun to watch /doesn't take itself seriously like The Penthouse (more comedy than mystery) the humor in ZD kinda reminded me of Eulachacha Waikiki. I also watched Come! Jang Bo Ri from TLE/TP writer. It was more of a family drama, lots of angst but I loved the cute side couple there.
Ofcourse you enjoying alot bcs this Season is Sequal.. Everybody like sequal drama/movies.. Without S1 S2 theres…
I'd agree/disagree.. with a few other k-dramas I didn't like the sequel that much as the original one or even disliked it but in TP I didn't really like the 1st season that much until Gu Ho Dong showed up, but I end up liking it more after each season even though other people were complaining about it going downhill it actually became more fun for me to watch
I have just finished S2 and can't wait to start S3 but as it is still airing I will wait till ep 13 comes out.…
then you will love S3 because the drama becomes even more hilarious. But S4 seems too much especially when they're only airing 1 ep per week, it would be repetitive and not much story left to tell now that JDT is on the run.
Likewise. Before I started it, I'd read so many awful things about it. But then once I started watching it, it…
exactly! I like that it doesn't take itself seriously, honestly wish there were more shows like this so I wouldn't be bored of k-dramas again. If people have watched this writer's previous dramas they would expect it to be as wild as The Last Empress.
Kind of disappointed with this episode. It’s impossible for me to believe JDT and CSJ wouldn’t just kill BJK…
that's what I thought too, but at least BJK can fight back, I doubt it for JBH. L/SSR could've made copies of their evidence anyways even if they killed them, it's not like they really care about them after what they've done. It seems like the writer just wanted an easy/convenient way to get rid of JDT/CSJ at the same time.
I haven't heard about this drama until now, someone mentioned it to me on another comment section. I'm curious about this since I got hooked to those other cheating dramas like TWOTM, My Dangerous Wife, Love Affairs in the Afternoon, so I wonder if I'll like this one xD
haven't watch yet but already mad about reviews, everyone gives it so law rating because they don't like cheating,…
same happened with that older drama When A Man's in Love, people rated it low/disliked the FL 'cause she cheated on the ML - well those cheating dramas like TWOTM & My Dangerous Wife are my guilty pleasures I got addicted to them so I think I'll check this one out lol
@sunset Hey! Hope all is well. Was thinking about ya when I was watching the first few episodes of this. I think…
any daily is better than MM. DWL = Doom at Your Service? I only watched the first ep but never finished it.. never heard of Love ft. Marriage, but I'm curious to see why it was low rated, those cheating shows like TWOTM and My Dangerous Wife are my guilty pleasures lol

Second Husband had a more exciting 1st episode/plot imo but I am liking both right now. Although both Hee Kyung and Sang Hyuk's characters felt rushed, like they changed too fast without any guilt/conscience. I'm just looking forward to these dailies and TP season 3 (am enjoying it more every season even though other people are complaining about how ridiculous/unrealistic it is)
Red Shoes hints at Gemma/Ki Seok romance but for some reason I like Hyun Seok's character more, he is more fun to watch than Ki Seok, HS' character kinda reminds me of Jae Min here. Who do you ship? Haha.. the guys look fine but I doubt I'll love their characters as much as Seo Ha Joon in Phoenix 2020, overall I care more about watching the plot/characters. Same here, am not really interested in other regular dramas but I'm always hooked to these cliche makjang dramas xD

Hey there ^^ thanks, hope you're doing well too! yes I am watching Red Shoes, I'm always watching the makjang dailies in that time slot. I started liking it more at ep 15+ when they aired it again after it was delayed for a few weeks, the story became more interesting as it focuses more on Hee Kyung. I don't think I've watched a MBC daily yet besides this one, the lighting/cinematography feels different from the KBS ones. Are you liking this drama or Red Shoes more? I haven't heard of Red Sky, is it that one with Ahn Hyo Seop? I liked him from 30 but 17 so I might check it out.
The third season is most entertaining for me lmao I always end up laughing at every episode (even during the unintentionally funny parts) JDT hiding while poking his head out of the laundry hamper was hilarious xD with all that money they had to get for the evidence they could've hired some thugs to get rid of them and take their evidence instead, but then again the good guys would have to save them which would waste another episode.
The story reminds me the promise and I'm afraid because that drama broke me, I couldn't watch anything for 2 months,…
it does feel like TP except without the childhood actors part, that drama was addicting (excellent main cast and background music), I could really feel Seo Joon Young's emotions throughout TP compared to the ML here with his sudden change of heart. I hope there won't be amnesia at the ending or child's death (which I noticed with a few dailies they kill off kids) I liked the 1st week of episodes so far but TP still sets my expectations high for these types of plots..
I watched the first 5 eps in one sitting, it's a decent start! I think I will be addicted to this one, my only complaint with 100+ eps is that I want to watch more of it right now lol. I wonder who was murdered in the beginning of ep 1..
is it worth watching? i don't want to waste my time like i did in miss monte cristo -_-
I was behind on the first 5 eps, only started watching today but 1st episode was good, a much better premiere than MM (which had a more campy low budget vibe in the beginning episodes) and maybe even more than Red Shoes (which took me 15-17 eps to finally get invested in the drama)
People who are scared because of the amount of episodes haven't probably never ever seen daily dramas. The episodes…
True. I used to have the same reaction/avoid them but then I got addicted to makjang dailies xD It does feel longer though if I'm trying to binge watch all 100+ compared to watching it daily, depending on how addicting it is I don't feel the length
Agree, a bit shocked at the early reveal! Not sure about romance of main leads, lacking chemistry in my opinion……
yeah, their romance was not that convincing enough to me that they almost kiss at end of ep 15.. I thought Hee Kyung would've figured it out already earlier when Gemma appeared at her home mentioning Ji Ho even though it was dark she couldn't see her face. I'm liking Hyun Seok's character more than Ki Seok though, I hope he doesn't turn evil/annoying later.
I still haven't watched this particular episode you are talking about i think but when Alex first appeared (he's…
yeah, some people didn't like him for obvious reasons when he showed up (felt like I was watching Eulachacha Waikiki when I first saw him) but I laugh whenever he talks in English, like in the latest ep he says "Cheon Seo Jin. And Joo Dan Tae. I'll kill them all" LOL
hi guys... do you prefer 'red shoes' or 'police university'? I know it's different, but I just wanted to ask which…
I can't say which is "better" since daily dramas like this always have similar revenge plots and basic cinematography/sets so it can't really be compared to regular dramas with more variety of plots/characters. It depends if you're in the mood for a makjang/melodrama or slice of life/crime. Judging by your watchlist it looks like you're more into regular/mainstream dramas so you might enjoy Police University better. I tried PU, it was an OK start but personally I prefer makjang dramas over slice of life even though the plots/characters are cliche and daily dramas look low budget in comparison but they can be addictive with those cliffhangers at the end of every episode, this one kinda resembles Golden Garden's plot except without the amnesia part. If you want to give this one a try you could still catch up to the episodes since it got delayed for a few weeks because of the Olympics. It's only 30 minutes everyday on the weekdays. Red Shoes' first 14 eps were kinda slow but I'm liking the recent episodes this week.
I also watched Come! Jang Bo Ri from TLE/TP writer. It was more of a family drama, lots of angst but I loved the cute side couple there.
