no real romance yet but I see a possible relationship between Gemma and Yoon Ki Seok

I first saw him in Heading to the Ground many years ago as a k-drama newbie but didn't really remember him there. But when I watched WFKBJ I started to like it because of his character!

the ending theme song is my new obsession even though I'm not a huge fan of this drama, too bad they didn't release an instrumental version of the song without the singer's voice. K-dramas should make more slow rock (?) OSTs like this one.
I watched Lee Jae Yoon in some other dramas before but I find him handsome here with his younger look.

that was a predictable plot twist of Sansanee not actually being the one who saved Soraya, and so fitting of her selfish personality - it was her fault that Soraya drowned but didn't even bother to save her while swimming away by herself and pretending that she saved her, what a manipulative bitch. Nukul was just as bad imo that was a lame excuse (how can she know he saved her if he disappeared from the scene like that?) and what was the point of him not telling her especially if he had feelings for her? If he knew how controlling Sansanee was to her he should've told her the truth that he was the one who saved her.
I wanted to see what actually happens to Sansanee after that pond scene and her mom actually finding out what she did/Harit's real intention for approaching her.. the parents weren't even surprised about her trying to get married with another man when she already had one, as if it was a normal thing to do lmao
will Tawatchai get back with his ex? Sansanee would probably try again eventually with another rich guy or be tired of men and rather be single but I doubt her marriage would even last that long anyways, what kind of man would want to put up with her forever.
Gayu was hilarious at the ending, flipping the book pages at the table and covering his eyes while walking away.
Did they ever get that pearl bracelet out of the water that Soraya threw away?

Slap kiss is my guilty pleasure lol I was addicted to Hua Jai Sila (2019) even though it's not on this list (the hidden identity/revenge plot reminded me of makjang dramas which I like), and Roy Leh Sanae Rai (became a fan of Push because of this drama) the catfights were funny/entertaining to watch!
I am almost done watching Jam Loey Rak too, I got hooked to the island arc with only 4 main characters and a chimpanzee. But later I thought the 2nd FL Sansanee was more interesting to watch than the FL when she came back to the city.
I got stuck at ep 8 of Nabi My Stepdarling, didn't think it was as exciting/addicting as HJS. Kleun Cheewit felt too long/draggy with their 1hr 50min episodes, but I loved the opening theme song. It is my favourite song next to Tra Barb See Chompoo's OP theme, the emotional pop rock ballads of these 2 songs gives you the feels.

it's a slow start so far even though they rushed the beginning part with the mom leaving her children behind without any remorse/guilt, and she should've been talented enough from all these years to design a pair of shoes herself instead of stealing from a random person. (Edit: actually she stole from multiple people as said in a later episode)
Half the screentime is filler scenes with some side characters who I don't care about, making it feel like a slice of life daily.
I'm guessing Choi Sook Ja is going to be another chaebol mom who helps the FL with her revenge again?
Also looking forward to the main leads romance, can't believe the ML is 40, I thought he was still 30.

The wardrobe stylist makes him wear blazers in almost every episode so far, but blazers & oversized/loose clothing are a trend in South Korea (assuming that since I notice in almost all k-dramas both men/women like to wear blazers or put them on their shoulder, and I saw some similar oversized men's blazers online like Yesstyle or other Asian clothing sites). I think he looks fine since has a nice height/body shape to pull off the look, it's just the white ones he wore in ep 10-11 look "baggier" than in the previous eps. It was quite wrinkly when he was sitting down at his desk but it looked better when he's standing. I have no opinion about the pants, I didn't really pay attention to them.

But the FL's character felt like she got downgraded/more passive when she finally went back to the city, like she's always talking slowly and looking tired, meanwhile I enjoy watching Sansanee more in the second half of JLR. I would've loved to see an alternate drama with her actually being abducted by Harit, their interactions would've been hilarious to watch.
I kept thinking Sansanee was wearing a wig, it was most obvious in ep 14 beach photoshoot scene when her hairstyle changed all of a sudden to her real long hair which she had in that past flashback of her hugging Soraya. I think she looks prettier with that asymmetrical bob cut look though

I watched the first 3 eps of Red Shoes now, nothing much happened in the first 2 but ep 3 seems to be picking up the pace with less filler scenes.
I didn't really like the ending credits song (not my type of music) it gave me MM vibes, the style sounded similar to MM's OST song Payback - Hongja. I prefer emotional pop-rock songs like Confession - Lee Woo (Fatal Promise), Breathe Me - Choi Hyun Joon, Call Your Name - Park Gi Yong (Phoenix 2020).
Also I wish they'd make more good instrumental music for the ending credits like with Gracious Revenge, The Promise, Left-Handed Wife, etc. it gets me more pumped up at the end of every episode xD

"characters just sitting around and chatting..." sounds like a slice of life show which I usually find boring/take forever to finish xD

since daily dramas are 100 eps they're going to get draggy at some point but hopefully this one will give me the same excitement/addiction from watching the previous 3 that aired before MM even if the ending isn't perfect.
The 1st ep was just average imo nothing really happened but the preview for ep 2 looks more interesting. The ending credits song gives me Miss Montecristo vibes, reminds me of that Payback - Hongja song. Although I wish they'd make more instrumental music for the ending credits like with Gracious Revenge, Fatal Promise, The Promise, etc.

those 2 are frustrating but addictive makjang dramas with annoying villains but I liked his romance with Choi Soo Young in MWSTT (although the second half focused more on the secondary couple). Ohn Joo Wan only starts showing up on the last ep of TP season 2 and more in season 3. I haven't watched The Lies Within either but maybe I might check it out for Ohn Joo Wan..

he looks better IRL picture, that buzzcut and facial hair in The Penthouse makes him look unattractive...

He is average looking imo but he has a cute smile that makes me fall for his characters, I first watched him in Man Who Sets the Table now am liking him again in The Penthouse season 3

I'm watching the one after this (Red Shoes) and also waiting for Second Husband, I recognize a few of the actors there from other makjang dramas

haven't finished the last 2 eps yet but I still enjoyed Woman of Dignity more than this one... I've seen/enjoyed all of her previous works so far except for Melting Me Softly which was the worst out of all of them.
