I'm hanging there but this might be my last daily drama. Too dragging and low budget = low direction?
I got used to the low budget-ness of daily dramas but this one does feel draggy/meh, I don't feel any excitement over MM compared to the previous 3 airing dailies..
can't wait for this one to be over so I can watch the next daily drama.

This drama is pretty boring the story isn't anything interesting it's quite predictable it''s missing the intrigue…
am kinda disappointed too since I enjoyed Woman of Dignity more than this one (same writer) like idk why something feels off about this drama?? But then again I haven't liked this writer's dramas anymore since Melting Me Softly.

I really like this drama!! I don't watch kdrama that often but here are some other shows i really liked:-flower…
Woman of Dignity (same writer) it also had a murder mystery in the beginning of ep 1 and the FL also hires a mysterious character in her household. I still enjoyed WOD more than this one tbh.

watch in order that they came out xD The Penthouse has more over the top/annoying characters than SC which felt…
lol I'm glad I stuck around that long, I can't get into most popular dramas nowadays but SC was worth the hype. Some dramas start out slow but then the 2nd half is more exciting, like I also got hooked to Healer around ep 8 during that elevator scene. The second half of SC felt more emotional when they focus more on Hye Na.
I find TP kinda overrated as a makjang tbh even though I get addicted to them, TP had more stereotypical characters and the acting felt more staged especially in the beginning eps. I only started liking it when Gu Ho Dong/Logan Lee showed up in the 1st season. I had high expectations for it at first since I was addicted to the writer's previous dramas The Last Empress & Come! Jang Bo Ri but those ones felt more memorable/original than TP for me.

I couldn't get into SC at first too but I got hooked to it by the end of ep 8 (literally), I was impressed by Kim Seo Hyung's acting in the beginning eps so I was motivated to keep watching it for her character. Professor Cha also creeped me out in the beginning but I ended up liking the Cha family, his obsession with pyramids was pretty funny.
I am continuing Mine just to see what happens with the tutor, who is also the most interesting character for me here... I seem to have a thing for tutor characters/villains lol

My favorite drama genre. Other great ones: Reply 1988 & 1997; Age of Youth (and the almost-identical Chinese remake);…
not for me anyways, age doesn't matter whether I like a genre or not. I feel the opposite, when I get older real life is already boring anyways so I like to watch unrealistic dramas to escape reality.. WFKBJ was the only one I watched there but I liked the main leads' chemistry and the instrumental BGM was pretty nice to listen to.

Which SOL anime do you recommend? Mine would be Bunny Drop, Shirobako.
I also watched Bunny Drop, and read the manga of it.
It feels like a lot of anime that are set in high school are SOL anyways especially the Shoujo ones. Some would still have the SOL tag even though it's a different genre like Mushishi, which was more of a fantasy anime for me. I guess some SOL I can think of is Bakuman (but I liked the manga better) Itazura na Kiss, Tonari no Seki kun, Oda Cinnamon Nobunaga (if you like watching dogs) Hanada Shounen-Shi, Sakamoto Desu Ga (funny episodic anime) Watamote, Sakamichi no Apollon

I could never truly get into SOL even though I forced myself to watch some just to see what the hype was all about..
I liked some SOL anime but for dramas I find them boring/meh most of the time, the few that I enjoyed were WFKBJ, The Package, Eulachacha Waikiki, Where Stars Land (even though it had a fantasy element but the daily situations at the airport was interesting enough to keep me watching it and I liked the main leads there) I guess SOL mixed with other genres are more interesting to watch than pure SOL like Hospital Playlist.
But I'm more into the opposite of SOL like makjang/melodramas/action/fantasy/supernatural stuff.. I need engaging plots/cliffhangers to keep me motivated to watch the next episodes and finish the drama.

Can I watch this without watching season 1?
It's a continuation of season 1 but the first few episodes of this one actually recapped the main plot points of season 1 with less filler scenes (?) so I guess in a way you'd still be watching parts of season 1, although I find it better to just watch the original cut which felt like a web drama.

Title Dramaworld Season 2 Spoiler
maybe they might end up together again in the last episode after they beat Seth and Evan sees she's still in love…
I was surprised they left us hanging on the last episode especially with that plot twist, now we'll have to wait for another season for our OTP to end up together again somehow..

Title Dramaworld Season 2 Spoiler
The show just cut off like that with an open ending, I was expecting one more episode to wrap things up instead of waiting for a 3rd season (when will it come out?). Dramaworld 2 was mediocre, it was an OK watch to fill up time but there was nothing particularly special about it compared to the previous one which had more memorable scenes like the Joseon people rapping or Claire being kissed on the cheek by 2 characters.
Evan being a villain was unexpected, it's as if the writer wanted to make him one all of a sudden so the OTP could potentially get back together. But I never really liked Evan in the first place anyways, he was kinda annoying sometimes.
Hopefully they'll wrap it up quick so we can see the OTP have more cute moments and it'd be Joon Park's turn to be exploring the "real" world.

So between Penthouse, Sky Castle and this which one should I watch first. Keep in mind that i love a BIT of drama…
watch in order that they came out xD
The Penthouse has more over the top/annoying characters than SC which felt more serious/realistic.
IMO I would recommend Woman of Dignity (same writer) I personally still find it more interesting/addictive than Mine even though both have a murder mystery in the beginning of the 1st episode and a mysterious character getting hired at the FL's house.

start with sky castle! it was the first drama that had this kind of feel then go onto penthouse then this one!
agreed, I rated SC higher than TP even though I couldn't get into SC at first but this one feels off for some reason, I wanted to like it since I was addicted to the writer's previous drama Woman of Dignity (similar murder mystery in the beginning and mysterious character getting hired at their home) Mine doesn't really feel like a makjang to me, maybe because I'm more used to the style of those daily/family dramas which were long but addictive.. I'm still continuing this because I want to know what happens with the tutor and murder scene and I liked this writer's other dramas except for Melting Me Softly xD

the writer also wrote other makjang dramas like Temptation of Wife, Come! Jang Bo Ri, The Last Empress which also…
I watched Five Fingers already (I was hooked to the beginning episodes with the child actors), Temptation of Angel is still on my PTW list.

Sky Castle brought me here. Is it good? Worth watching?
based on the first few eps, it's just "average" for me even though I was a fan of this writer's other dramas except for Melting Me Softly.. Ok Ja Yeon's character is most interesting for me to watch right now, it's more like Woman of Dignity than SKY Castle with that murder mystery in the beginning and the mysterious character entering their households

Choi Myung Gil again - I was addicted to her other daily drama Gracious Revenge which made me want to watch ongoing daily makjang dramas!
Hopefully this one will be better than Miss Montecristo, I couldn't get into that drama even though I enjoyed GR, Fatal Promise and A Man in a Veil..
