it was also kinda boring for me too sometimes since I got duped into thinking this was a makjang but it was more like 90% slice of life scenes 10% melodrama, overall it was just a one time watch for me but I liked the ending theme song though I always stuck around watching the ending credits just to listen to it.

I love a good action drama so I'm gonna wait until this is fully subbed..

right.. I even saw someone called Ugly Alert a makjang in their review when it was more like 80% SOL 20% melodrama, on the other hand I actually enjoyed "real" makjang dailies/family dramas more even though they were low rated/some people hate watching them but I love watching makjangs over SOL 😂

most of those dramas on the list look like slice of life, it doesn't even have to be long but shows like The Penthouse/The Last Empress are the real definition of makjang, or those 50-100 ep dramas with cliche revenge plots and villains like Red Shoes/Second Husband (currently airing) I'd even say some lakorns resemble makjang like Hua Jai Sila/The Fallen Leaf

agreed lol I am enjoying the drama more every season even though it's "ridiculous" and unrealistic 🤣 it feels more like a makjang parody at this point

more realistic prediction - Logan probably expected this situation to happen and he has a backup helicopter ready to save her 😌

Hera Palace falling reminds me of TLE's palace being abolished. Logan or the police would've had a backup helicopter somewhere ready to save her in case the bombs exploded.
I think OYH would come back alive and due to the shock of falling down the cliff she finally remembers what really happened that night when MSA died (JDT being the real killer and she was only a witness) then will come back for revenge against CSJ and final episode can be all happy reunion scenes/time skip showing the kids' graduations and re-building Hera Palace 😌
but maybe they'd live happier lives if they lived in a regular house instead while trying to move on from the bad memories of Hera Palace.

there was a flashback scene in ep 17 around 28 mins (30 min format) of OYH and SSR having a conversation about her looking cool as NAG and tells her to live her life like her, then she gets the tattoo right after that scene

agreed, time flies by fast I enjoyed more 2018 k-dramas than nowadays..
even though I am liking the writer's most recent drama The Penthouse but I still rated TLE and Come! Jang Bo Ri higher. The only other drama imo that could top TLE would be Hua Jai Sila (2019) it's a slap kiss lakorn but it was pretty addicting too, felt like a makjang with the hidden identity/revenge plot and has a better ending than TLE.

idk about Koreans IRL but I see this happens with some Chinese people born in Canada (where I live) they understand Cantonese when their parents talk to them but they always speak back in English ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

not surprised since makjang dailies are always rated low here, Red Shoes' rating is also dropping but I would've rated that one the opposite since it only got more interesting at ep 15+

the plot/love triangle was underwhelming even though it started out decent and got draggy halfway but Seo Ha Joon was the main reason why I was motivated to keep watching it, loved his interactions with the FL - the way he teases her and cheers her up. Even though it is low rated I think it is worth watching at least for the romance scenes

Yes. Almost all the dramas in this time slot are makjang dramas with similar revenge/hidden identity plots. I was addicted to this when it was airing but wasn't that impressed with the 2 that aired after this one..
