I didn't watch this drama so I don't know

lmao agreed 😂 drama felt just average for me but the music made it more enjoyable. I was obsessed with Trax + Air songs, I always stuck around the ending credits just to listen to them.
My other fave BGM are Swallow the Sun (Classic ver.), Rising Sun, Bohemian Waltz, Night TP and Zdenek Bartak's I'm Not Alone/Freedom/Desire.
The insert song April Rain - Delain was also used as BGM but the rock intro got me pumped up 🤣

maybe because it's a long daily drama with lesser known actors (I only recognize the 2 main leads and Yang Mi Kyung), sypnosis here doesn't tell much either but I'm more interested in makjang dailies than slice of life 😂

I love makjangs too, it's the only thing I feel motivated to watch nowadays lol this one has been addictive since the beginning eps. It has some similarities to Yellow Boots (also long daily drama) with the 1st ML leaving the FL for someone else and her getting framed for a murder. Although YB still had better BGM and FL spent more eps in jail than this one.

wasn't really a fan of the romance but it kinda grew on me halfway.. I love watching bromance it makes anything better 😂 in some shows I liked the bromance more than the romance, like in Goblin, Suits, A Korean Odyssey

didn't watch Signal yet but I agree with the other ones, was addicted to The Guest & Gu Family Book.. liked Vagabond mostly for the action scenes and Taxi Driver had some cool background music that kept me watching it.
I also want a 2nd season of Zombie Detective which I watched at the same time with this one back when these 2 were airing, but I was honestly more hyped about watching CJH's zombie character than this drama, it was a simple storyline without romance but fun to watch 😂 TOTNT had potential but it could've been a lot better.

that poster looks cool though 😂 I just wanna watch more fantasy/action scenes.
I wasn't really a fan of the romance at first but it grew on me the more I watched the main leads. I guess the next season will be more about the MLs bromance? I think bromance makes anything better honestly lmao

that sucks 'cause it already got delayed before and this is the only airing drama I look forward to, regular dramas don't catch my attention anymore... even Red Shoes isn't as exciting as I thought it'd be even though it's aired halfway now.
My sis is also watching this one with me on TV lol she wants to see if JK will die in the end 😂

does anyone know what that song is in ep 17 around 11 minutes Inspector Hyun shows Jang Min Ho the photo of Ahn Mi Yeon and he reminisces of her? I used Shazam but no result.

I forgot it played in ep 1 but I really liked it when it played in ep 17, it sounded so emotional with those vocals and electric guitar 😂 why was it not included in the official OSTs? It was like Jang Min Ho's theme song whenever he thinks of Ahn Mi Yeon.
It's hard to find this song for download, I see a few people uploaded it on Youtube but the copyright info only shows the album for the 2015 version of the song which isn't even the same one used in the drama.

borrowed the DVD from the library (thankfully I didn't have to watch this in low quality on those "free" websites) 1st ep was better than I thought it'd be.
I give this a 7 for the plot but I liked the sceneries and background music in this so I felt like rating it a bit higher just for that..
those 2 songs "Fate" & "Voice" by Trax/Air gets me pumped up for the next episodes during the ending credits. Although I like "Voice" chorus better, this song gives me more feels, wish it was longer and had a guitar solo too. They should've released the instrumental versions of those 2 songs on the OST instead of the cringy English versions which I heard on Shazam.
The middle piano part of "Swallow the Sun (classic ver.)" gives me East of Eden vibes. I miss these types of osts/BGMs used in older makjang/melodramas. "I am not alone"/"Freedom" by Zdenek Bartak sounds quite familiar, I feel like I've heard them somewhere before.
I liked a few other insert songs, April - Delain rock intro sounded cool and Never Again - Tilo Alpermann (the scene when FL was watching Cirque du Soleil)
I think most people rave about Ji Sung but for some reason I was more impressed with Lee Wan, maybe because I watched this right after Tree of Heaven I started noticing him more. Jeon Kwang Ryul also has a long lost son here like in King of Baking Kim Tak Goo 😂

no Penthouse vibes, it's more like Yellow Boots with the 1st ML leaving the FL for another woman and the 2nd FL accidentally killing someone and framing it on the FL.
But it's been addicting so far every episode ends with a cliffhanger to keep you watching it.

ep 35 onwards, looks like she's coming out of jail with long hair (but it looks more like a bad wig) 😂

JM needs to stop trusting this guy and should've spilled those 2's secrets to their father. Why would he think he would help SH if she has nothing to do with him and he is JK's loyal dog/servant?

the summary on Asianwiki said he died but I can't believe it either, he has an illness all of a sudden so conveniently when he looked healthy all this time? I still think they are trying to stage the baby's death so those 2 could adopt him and carry out the pregnancy lie. Jae Kyung might not approve of Sae Byeok but maybe he will hide this fact from her and say it's a random kid so she will raise him, or she will just put up with his baby out of desperation.
Seon Hwa will probably recognize her kid later with the burn scar on SB that the grandma accidentally did on him, just like with Yellow Boots.

I feel like I gotta watch this for Park Ha Na and Kang Eun Tak 🥺 they were the main leads from Apgujeong Midnight Sun and I was addicted to the last makjang dramas they were in.
I recognize some of the other actors here too who also acted in the same dramas as them - Love in Sadness, A Man in a Veil, The Promise.. so I feel like watching this more for the casting than the actual plot

nope I also find it boring, it's giving me the similar feeling of watching Mine & Graceful Friends which I couldn't get into either. Nothing really interesting happening until the last 5-10 minutes of every episode. I enjoyed TP season 3 even though people were complaining about it being unrealistic but at least it was entertaining 😂

so far it's not as good as SKY Castle imo it gives me more "Mine" vibes. The only exciting parts actually happen during the last 5-10 minutes of every episode..
