the older side couple Kwon Soo Yeon & So Tae Gil.. very cheesy couple 😂 they remind me of that side couple from A Man in a Veil where the aunt living with the evil mom also falls in love with one of the supporting characters.
Ok Kyung could've pulled her in instead of pushing her on the ground, or leap over to the other side with her. It is frustrating when characters just stand there waiting to get hit especially with that slow motion scene 😕
I'm on episode 41 and still don't know why this is called The Second Husband.... I'm so frustrated .
I thought it was referring to Jae Min as the second husband since Sang Hyuk was supposed to be Seon Hwa's husband but he dumped her (even though they didn't actually get married but she still considered him as one) 😅 but the Chairman is also Hae Ran's second husband.. although drama titles usually refer to the main character's name than the supporting ones so I still think the title is more about Jae Min
for some reason I watched this first before the original one but I actually liked this one better (the original was kinda boring)? Musashi was funnier to watch in "In the Sky" and Soichi's reactions were comical 😂
borrowed this from the library - too bad it was a weird cut with 32 episodes 50 minutes each and a random Chinese song played at around the 40 minute mark in ep 1 since it was edited to cater to the Mandarin dub? I got confused when it didn't line up with the original version at Dramacool/Kissasian so I had to stop watching it for now.. plus the DVD had some old fashion/shoes commercial whose website doesn't even exist anymore now 😂 1st ep kinda reminded me of Arthdal Chronicles too
im watching both drama second husband is way better dont waste your time
I noticed that drama while checking out KBS' channel dramas here but I wasn't convinced by the synopsis/tags, it sounded more like a slice of life than a makjang revenge drama 🤔 but I guess it must be true after seeing a Korean article about it airing after RS..
I don't understand your comment in some parts, with who you think she'll end ?
I think why I also prefer HS is because he reminded me a bit of Seo Ha Joon's Jung Min, he was also a playboy in the beginning eps but then got serious about Ji Eun later.. it's a shame since I felt more genuine chemistry between HS and Gemma (whether it was the characters or actors)
I don't understand your comment in some parts, with who you think she'll end ?
she will most likely end up with Ki Seok again since they are supposed to be the main leads in love with each other while Hyun Seok was supposed to be Hye Bin's fiance but he didn't want to marry her anymore in the recent eps.. HB is getting delusional trying to keep him lol meanwhile Gemma is only marrying HS for revenge 😕
SH is a bingeworthy drama so far, I'm more addicted to it than this one. I find RS more tolerable than the previous…
I've watched like a dozen daily dramas now but LHW is my most favourite daily lol I loved how over the top it was and the Charman was a funny character 😁 I still remember those epic ending themes "Left Hander" & "Breaking" I think that's the only k-drama I've seen that there were no singer ost songs for that drama. Well anyways I hope you enjoy Red Shoes, it's not as bad as everyone's making it out to be but it feels just pretty average/basic daily drama plot and the FL is getting lost in her revenge right now
Lee Yoo Ri's character here is a pale shadow of her previous role in Yellow Boots, which I think is the actual underrated drama with less watchers since it's an older drama and most people would run away from seeing 100 episodes but I felt her emotions more in YB than this one when she was crying for her son and older dramas did better with makjang/melodramas. This one just focuses more on the mother/daughter relationship than fighting for justice but the writing felt too basic/surface level covered up with pretty lighting/cinematography and Lee Yoo Ri's role here didn't feel as memorable for me compared to in YB, The Promise & Come! Jang Bo Ri.
Adding this to my watch list since I saw the makjang tag and I liked penthouse and last empress
if you liked those 2 you should check out Come! Jang Bo Ri (same writer) it gets pretty addicting after the first few eps with the bickering main leads and cute side couple! Second Husband is also airing right now, it is long (120 eps) but addictive with the similar FL getting framed for murder plot, each episode ends with a cliffhanger that makes you want to watch the next one. Lee Yoo Ri's older drama Yellow Boots was also pretty good revenge drama I still find her acting better than in this one even though both of them had a baby in jail.
guys should i give this drama a try? i'm also watching the second husband, its also another daily drama. is this…
agreed with what others said already.. I was watching this one before SH but SH had a better start than RS, this one feels like a filler drama - the plot is pretty average/typical daily drama setup (although I still enjoyed some dramas other people didn't like/rated low so maybe someone might actually like this despite the negative comments) if you enjoy SH I'd recommend Yellow Boots instead, it's also very addicting with a similar plot/characters with the ML leaving the FL and her getting framed for a murder.

Phoenix 2020 is rated lower than this but I still loved Seo Ha Joon's scenes and some of the background music was nice, too bad they didn't release the OST for those 😢 I wish I could watch him in a new drama soon lol preferably a makjang one, it would be interesting to see him as a sexy villain 😂

I remember you here asking if SH was worth watching 2 months ago, good to see you're enjoying it 😂 I think the other reason why SH plot is more interesting because it reminds me of Yellow Boots (which was also very addicting) and doesn't waste time with little fillers. I hope it keeps up like this with a satisfying ending. RS on the other hand, I felt something was off about it since the beginning eps. I was addicted to some other dailies in this timeslot but RS and the previous one Miss Montecristo have been meh so far. But who knows maybe some people might actually be still enjoying this one? I hope the next daily will be more entertaining but I can't find any info on what the next drama is airing after RS.
I feel like the romance would've been better if Gemma and Hyun Seok were the OTP couple instead 😕 I wanted to ship them earlier in the drama, besides his playboy scenes with that American chick I liked his personality more than Ki Seok who felt too robotic, it was the small gestures or helping her out like with that USB drive scene made me fall for his character more.. too bad they had to end up this way. I kind of liked it around ep 15 but went downhill when HB got annoying again after she was showing some character development getting along with Gemma and after they introduced the ML's ex, thus shaking up their relationship. The plot is weird sometimes it feels like a psychological drama whenever I watch Hee Kyung and Hyuk Sang interacting with each other alone (the way he talks down on her with an evil look and those slaps in the face!) - which oddly this drama could've been better as instead of trying to be a revenge drama.
they didn't show what happened after JM revealed his face to SH even though there was a scene of him asking for…
the same thing also happened with a preview scene in ep 42 that showed up right in the beginning of 44 instead of 43.. so I think we will get to see what happened during that night later when they focus more on the main leads' relationship than the SH/JK battle. There were a few other dramas that did this before (I forgot which ones) where they showed a preview scene that doesn't actually play in the next ep
I hope Sang Hyuk gets out of that toxic marriage. Even Sang Hyuk doesn't deserve to be in such a toxic marriage.
nah he deserves everything coming at him for ditching BSH and he was the one who chose this lifestyle, neither of them are good people anyways they should've been together in the first place. It's also punishment for him since most of the stuff that's happened so far is because of him leaving her.

Am I the only one who likes love triangles 😂 I like it when 2 guys fight over 1 girl lmao
