the main leads - Oh San Ha & Lee Soo Ho (who was originally acted by Song Won Seok but got changed to Kim Jin Woo for the majority of the episodes) other married couples - the Chairman and his wife, Park Kang Chul & Jo Ae Ra there was someone else who ended up with someone near the end of the drama but that made no difference to the plot 😂

I find SH more tolerable to watch now than the first 10 eps but it'll be very satisfying to see their downfall in the end 😁 this time it'll be Sang Hyuk begging Seon Hwa desperately to get back with him but too bad for him she'll be marrying her "second husband" instead 😏
I found out later one of the instrumental BGM in this drama was originally used in Tears of Heaven (2014) I kept thinking about this drama while watching that one 😂 I still enjoyed this mostly because of Wang Soo Jin, I find evil mothers like her and the one from A Hundred Year's Inheritance entertaining to watch lmao idk why I'm always more amused watching villains than good characters.

yeah, it's at the halfway point already I'm expecting SH/JK battle to be more intense now especially with the latest reveal and her being more possessive over MSH. This drama reminds me of YB, AMIAV and GR combined especially with the same actresses, the 2 moms are playing opposite roles of those previous dramas and I was so addicted to all of them 😁 even the name Tae Yang was the same as the son from YB..

most makjang daily dramas have common recycled plots/characters anyways but it depends on how memorable the story/cast/background music is for me. Red Shoes plot somewhat reminds me of Golden Garden except without any love triangle and FL also tries to marry the 2nd ML for revenge like in Fatal Promise.

Although I think they're relying too much on the birth secrets now to keep our attention. I want to see more of HR revenge on the Chairman and the cell mates helping SH.
Ep 53 didn't get subbed all day (Oct 28), but at least I get to see 2 eps in a row on Friday. I kinda wanted Nam Ki Taek to still be alive so he could be another rival to annoy Jae Kyung 😂 would've made more sense if the witness guy got killed off instead since he was more of a threat (what is he doing now anyways?) Seon Hwa should've put that listening device in JK's office too since she's always telling Soo Chul to do her dirty work for her 🙄
