they didn't show what happened after JM revealed his face to SH even though there was a scene of him asking for her forgiveness in ep 48 preview 🤔 I think that part will show up in ep 50 instead as a flashback scene

it's opposite for me, I only checked out this drama because of some of the supporting actors like Park Ha Na, Kang Eun Tak and the cute little boys.. looked like a reunion drama for some of these actors who were in other dramas together before. I usually don't show interest in these family dramas unless it has some melodrama/makjang in it but I couldn't resist seeing half of the familiar actors here..

ep 47 was great, loved seeing JK getting owned at the end 😂 was also funny to see Sang Hyuk suspicious of Soo Chul in the office. I wonder if there will be a love story between Sang Mi and Seo Jun now that she found her "supermarket guy". She should've been the one to take the box and give it back to Seon Hwa. What is the point of Ok Kyung trying to keep the box other than to delay the curiosity of what is in it?

production was good but the story didn't really leave emotional impact on me. In the manga I felt like crying when Inuyashiki found out he was going to die of cancer and Shishigami was supposed to have a redemption arc in the end but that didn't happen here. They skipped out on the yakuza plot too. The manga was more graphic than the movie. Satou Takeru looks kinda old to be playing as a high schooler, I was expecting a younger actor for the role but his stage presence makes up for it.

the video quality looks pretty good here for a "free" website and you can even change the subtitle settings. Too bad this site was not made long ago and I watched this already in low quality 😂
the website itself doesn't have any annoying ads either and you can find some other Asian dramas there too even though it looks like it has mostly western movies/shows.

I've watched all the k-dramas there, Priest was also good too (I find their energumen more fun to watch since they had supernatural powers unlike The Guest where they just go around stabbing people)

I watched Rugal because of CJH, liked it for the action and music. I also liked Pain or Death - Samuel Seo! I remember when they played different versions of it but they didn't release those ones (played later in the drama, like he was humming the song "da da da" instead of singing the lyrics?)
I like it when there are good instrumental BGMs in dramas (besides the OST songs) it makes the drama more memorable/enjoyable for me. The last drama I completed (besides Squid Game) was Swallow the Sun, the plot felt average but the music and sceneries made it better for me, I was obsessed with Trax & Air's songs during the ending credits. "Voice" was more of my favourite out of the 2 main songs but it played more in the later episodes credits.
In another drama (White Tower) the BGM kept me watching it even though I wasn't really a fan of medical/political dramas.
TKEM did have some good BGM too even though the drama was a letdown for me. The instrumental version of Gravity sounded cooler without the vocals especially during that horse rescue scene ep 11

everyone's talking about the casting but I wonder more about the music if they can make a song as nice/memorable as "Perhaps Love" - Howl & J (the only song I remember from the OST)

feels like a Penthouse plot twist like with JDT and SSR's daughter. JK deserves to be his daughter though since they're both evil.
SH/HR chance meeting feels like fate to bring them back together, and it makes more sense for the grandma to want to take her away from them instead of BS. But if she was BS' daughter she could've told them easily, what was the point of hiding some secrets in a box somewhere else?
It'd be funny seeing MSH's reaction that he left the rightful heir and married the wrong woman all this time.
Although HR seems too proud of JM for him to not be her real son. Or she is just using him for revenge against the Chairman since she's always eager for him to take over the company.

SH is a bingeworthy drama so far, I'm more addicted to it than this one.
I find RS more tolerable than the previous daily MM but it is lacking in direction/plot that they even had to add the ML's ex at one point to stall the episodes and regress Hye Bin's character back to being jealous/throwing tantrums.. the main leads also lack chemistry, their love story wasn't that convincing for me.
RS isn't that good but not that bad either if you watch it without any expectations ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I'm used to seeing toxic users ever since The King: Eternal Monarch aired, the comment section there used to be wild with fanatics attacking other users but it's quieted down now.. the same will probably happen with this one when people move onto the next big drama ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Ep 1 was the least interesting for me (it was pretty meh in the beginning until after 40 minutes the actual plot starts), the games/death scenes do get more intense later so I can see why people are enjoying this one.
While it is true for some people are new to k-dramas or didn't watch that many but those who are already familiar with can still like this one just as much. I think people are hyping it more for the fun of it/being the latest trend than for the plot. The costumes and games became iconic so that's why people like to talk about it.

The 1st ep was boring with that 35 min intro but the actual plot starts after that. The idea does seem simple but that is what makes it entertaining/hooks the viewers in. I think people are hyping it more for the fun of it like it's the latest trend more than it being a masterpiece since death games aren't a new thing. The pink suits/games were iconic now everyone knows about dalgona cookies because of this drama. Where I live there's even a restaurant making that cookie challenge.

No, not that part. I should've been more specific, he only told her a burglar showed up before (he didn't know it was him) but the preview right at the start of ep 42 actually appeared in beginning of 44 instead of 43 when he shows her a paper with Soo Chul's face on it. That scene should've showed up in ep 43 preview instead of 42.
