Sorry for the late response! But the last episode definitely explains the men's pants too. Sophee is definitely involved, and kudos to the actress because that level of delulu is astonishing, and made you hate her even more.

This movie is listed as being on prime video. I've looked for it with both movie titles and nothing came up. What am I missing? I cannot find it on prime.

Based off of the pilot/trailer, I'm pretty sure it's Sophee that kills him. Remember the abbott talked about her being his main karmic enemy. Who else would that be but the person who killed him?

Oh my gosh, that comment. It does feel kind of like they're trying to just past censorship so it doesn't look like a BL or something. She doesn't seem to serve any real purpose and I also wondered why she has to be in EVERY conversation, when she's hardly ever contributing anything to them. I know a lot of people were wanting a romantic thread in this (as LYX shines in those) but I was actually looking forward to a bromancey situation rather than romance (exactly because of what has been happening here).

Exactly. And I can get behind a strong female character most of the time, but she's more of a damsel in distress, like you said. How many times has she had to be saved by Lici or someone else thinking she was helping?? I'm kind of hoping she's a villain at this point, at least then it would make sense.

I don't see the purpose of her character, to be honest. All she seems to do is either get in the way or hinder someone else. I never did understand what she thought she was doing following Lici down into Biluo Palace. Did she think she was capable of saving him that whole time? She just seemed to get in the way.

Was this character originally a man? I wasn't sure if she was even in the original novel.

Yeah. I've found them on other websites and they are so bad. Like the words are in the wrong order and have to be pieced together...and some of their names have the literal translations instead of their actual names...it's just ugh
