idc but the first frost had to be the most well-written drama I've watched in a long time, everything about it is perfect the pacing the building the characters the backstories.. everything screams pure art and perfection and the directing is like cherry on top

I saw a lot of people complaining about the added scenes and the screenwriter' touch , but I really love the outcome, the novel focus solely on Wen Yifan and Sang Yan leaving other characters non-dimentional, while in the drama everyone has a backstory and a unique lifestyle, I really love how the bestfriends aren't just bestfriends, the collegues aren't just collegues, and how everything conveys something.
Even the jealousy scenes are pushing their relationship, not drifting them apart due to some stupid misunderstanding, even the little misunderstanding are in their favor actually..

I had a guy deskmate back in highschool too, it was for few days only before he sat behind me but I fell hard for him at that time, and it wasn't the first time even my first crush used to be my deskmate.

I think you're wrong for saying she's weak just because she was saved, she isn't that capable physicaly but she has a strong mentality, the fact that she's still alive after everything she went through and is going on no matter how depressed and traumatised she's -is strength itself.
If you watch carefuly, you'll notice how she used to be, a passionate person with strong will and beautiful heart, it's the unfortunate 8 past years that made her seem this dull and void. But that old WYF isn't dead actually, the added scenes in the drama shows how she's still around (the disappearing daughter case, the little girl struggling with her ballet..)
Again, it's wrong for you to think a person is weak just because they're saved, and I know 'the first frost' is a show for people who think like this, it deliver such an important message
