I still think the male lead's mother is the killer, even tho I watched ep 14 but something about her is just suss,…
well, I wrote a long post about this a few days ago with my opinion why she can be a killer. it's also interesting that she didn't see the news but appeared and said smth that "if you saw him, you would say smth like that". what if she wanted to check if he really knows who is the killer? if it's her, she would know he's lying, and maybe she played safe?
I still feel kinda suspicious about this reveal. if he was dead in 2037, his dad could be around 70(?). how a 70years old man could kill a grown strong man?
As far as I noticed everyone suspect the ML's father but for me it would be so weird that he would kill his own…
Even if she had a name and wanted to have a family, why would she leave Haejoon after giving birth to him? It doesn't sound like a good mother to me unless she was killed as well. But in that case, I guess someone would be suspicious about why she disappeared or would find her body, and Haejoon would find a record of her disappearance in present times
For a long time, I didn't have a drama that could make me feel so involved in the whole plot and the story. Everything…
As far as I noticed everyone suspect the ML's father but for me it would be so weird that he would kill his own son. Why? I had two ideas - it's someone from the police station or Chungah. Since almost the begining (around ep 5) I started to think that the teapot girl could be the murderer. First, Haejoon once said that she's so nosy and knows a lot about everyone. She could definitely observe/hear everyone without anyone being suspicious. She would be able to see daily routine of literally everyone. She also lied to Haejoon at night the first girl's case. She said there was no one at the tea pot apart from the girl and Yoonyoung's father. But she dissappeard before he even walked in. Where? Why? And why did it get unnoticed by the main lead character? Also, the motel was very near the teapot place, she could sneak out and come back a few minutes later. Then we have SoonAe's sister than we don't really know. She's silly, popular and liked by men. I actually didn't know why she was killed. At first, I thought that the murderer wanted to kill SoonAe's from the start because Soonae's sister didn't seem to like to read that much and she didn't seem to be very smart person. Chungah definitely knew her because she was singing there at the teapot. And we have the 3rd girl - Haekyung. I couldn't link her to Chungah much. Apart from the scene where Chungah took the hairband from the girls and used it. I don't know but maybe she wanted to kinda match to the group/ wanted to be a part of? What if she was jealous? Chungah is very weird character. She's very girly, beautiful with sense of fashion, but at the same time she looks as if she was very independent and brave woman. She also doesn't seem to have many friends and men around her even tho she's young and pretty. If she was a Haejoon's mom, why would she leave him like that? I was also thinking about the fact that since the first ep, they are looking for a spy. Wouldn't it to be a smart move to be a spy and work in a place where you can wander around and listen to people's conversations without being unnoticed? What if Haejoon's father found out and he took his son away so they could be safe? If she was a killer, main lead's father would not like to talk about her and wouldn't like his son to ask about her. In that case even if she could kill him, she could not be aware it's her son after so many years, and she wouldn't feel attached to him anyway. I know that we "know" that the murderer is a man but the only one person who said that was Misook - a master of lying. I don't trust her and to be honest she could lie again. If she said that the murderer she saw looks like a girl, they would never arrest her brother. And we knew it was her priority at that time. that's why she could say in the year 2023 that woman could be a murderer too. Maybe she didn't talk about herself but a person she saw that night? And director could on purpose show us a man running as if we saw it by Main Lead's eyes. They have already lied to us once by making us think that a man with a blue hat was a muderer, right?
For a long time, I didn't have a drama that could make me feel so involved in the whole plot and the story. Everything seems so easy but complicated at the same time. I do enjoy the time SoonAe and her daughter from '87. Their friendship and how they treat each other are so genuine and sweet. I found the concept of Yoonyoung witnessing her parents' past story so interesting because she could understand them well and also get rid of the guilt from the 1st ep. Also, the whole murder story is so interesting. At this moment, I think that we have already witnessed life-changing decisions and the future has already changed but characters don't see it. Below I'll put my "who might be a murderer rant" so I won't spoil anything :)
ep 12 is kinda stupid and forced. Idk why they catch the ML when he the one that help the mother's of FL. The…
to be honest, I think it's a part of his plan. he always has a plan and the endings usually are not what we think they are. He has an alibi so we know he won't get into prison. Maybe he wants to talk to Misook's brother or observe some police officers
She's already been shown to be a bad bitch in the first episodes. If she isn't the murderer herself, she was the…
But she also stole YY's mom story and claimed as her own. that's why I don't think it's really her. what if she stole someone else's story again and claimed as her own?
I watched it on Viki because of the high rating but after I had many questions why. The idea for the series was interesting, something new in the Korean bl world. W know how Koreans love fantastic stories about gods and mystical creatures so the series could be something different and a hit. Sadly, it was only seen how low-budget it was. Apart from the plot that could be addictive and engrossing, the drama ended up being very rushed and too tangled for 8 episodes for me. I had moments when I didn't understand some parts or characters' actions even if I was focused only on watching. The plot about Haesoo could not exist to me, instead, we could get more focus on Minhyun's story and the main love plot. The acting also could be better and I didn't feel so much chemistry. The one nice thing was the soundtrack, I actually really like the songs.
It's tough for me to rate this drama. It wasn't the best but it wasn't too bad, I'd say it was very average bl drama. Definitely, it's nothing compared to other Korean bl dramas that premiered in 2022 like Blueming or Semantic Error. I feel like this bl was a bit overwhelming. We got only 6 episodes of around 20 minutes each and too much plot and too many stories to portray. In the end, I felt like they tried to connect everything together and I felt lost. In my humble opinion, the director could give us only Jiwoo & Roa's plot and Jiwoo & Yoona's side plot without any extra drama with other characters who didn't add much to the story at the end. Sometimes very simple and easy tv series are the best and very entertaining to watch. Also, I think Jiwoo & Roa's chemistry and relationship could be built way better. If someone told me they are just friends, knowing what relations in Korea look like and without the last scene, I'd accept and kinda believe in it as well. But a big plus for production and the music. They did a great job, really! The soundtrack was mellow but it suits the drama vibe a lot and it make the scenes more emotional and more entertaining to watch
This movie is definitely for 2gether fans. Since I'm very sentimental about this story and the characters I really liked the way they have made the movie. We didn't get many new scenes but for all the fans who missed Sarawat and Tine after Still2gether, the director let us go through everything once again, feel the happiness and saddness, and remind all the most important and the most iconic moments in the main's couple life. The movie let us understand the whole story from Tine's perspective only and he was the narrator. From the moment when he tried to escape from Green, met Sarawat from the first time, finally found out when he really fell in love with Wat and what makes him scared of and push Sarawat away for a moment, until the moment they got together. We could a bit understand more all Tine's actions. With additional scenes from the season 1 and small plot as a "break" from the memories part we've got the 2gether the movie with beautiful uni's graduation ending. For all the fans who expected more brave couple plot than what we have seen in the 2 seasons like in current bl dramas we can watch- I get you will be disappointed, but in my humble opinion this is what the story of Sarawatine looks like - very delicate and minimal so the director stayed with it. Also, the soundtrack was as awlays amazing! Anyway, I always enjoyed them together and the plot so it was a very nice journey and I hope that if we get another movie, we will get a totally new plot :)
agreed. Every time I watch I am loving them and smiling like a fool. Phayu's voice is just 🥵🥵🥵🥵
Yes! Phayu's voice and acting is really amazing. But also, Rain's reactions are the best, he's shy by almost every flirty text said by Phayu when he was brave enough to say that Phayu will fall in love with him within a month 😂 love this energy
Phayu is such a tease and so flirty that it left me smiling and enjoying Rain's reactions a lot. I'm glad it's so far, a good bl without unecessary drama and toxic behaviors. I hope to see more like this in the future
So far the drama is really good and I enjoy watching it. I even laughed during some part in the episode 1. Both Rain and Phayu's actors are playing really well and realistic. Phayu reminds me a bit of Sarawat from 2gether - he acts uninterested and cool around Rain, agrees to that "i'll make you fall for me" plan, but I think he kinda likes Rain and wants to make him fall for him by Rain's own plan. I hope he doesn't have any secret intentions to hurt him tho. I hope the author and directors won't make it toxic at the end because I look forward to see their relationship dynamic in every episode
Personally, I think the Korean bl dramas are getting better and better this year. I found this one very cute, maybe not perfect and I felt like some moments were in a rush, plot was a bit predictable, but I enjoyed it anyway and the last two episodes made me really cry. I think it's the perfect drama for lazy, cozy spring evenings. The actors were good, Jinuk who played Haebom acted really well, I totally believed in his character who was pure, insecure, and a bit lost. I don't know if the drama is like a webtoon because I didn't read it but I'm curious about TaeSung's mom, what happened with her first love or love life because they started the plot but didn't tell us anything more about it
yeah, i feel the same. what pisses me off the most is that is seems the writers want to make her seem like the…
True. I couldn't find her as a victim and a nice character at all even tho I know she was hurt. She did so many hurtful and wrongful things that were way worse than what HJ and WJ did. I think the director could portray Haewon relationship with her lover much better (like in the novel) because I had moments while watching the drama when I thought he never loved her and she was a psycho who pushed him to be together and move abroad. She seems to feel like karma so she chose revenge as her priority in life. But I personally, think that the main antagonist didn't have a good life either (she wasn't with her loved one, she was afraid of her kids and their future, she was humiliated by mother-in-law almost all the time, and so on) and the drama shows that there are 2 kinds of people - the one who is hurt and shows it off and the one who hides it no matter what.
Question for those who weren’t satisfied by the ending, what would you change and what kind of ending would…
Personally I think the ending was too much. I'd like WJ death to be portrayed differently since it seems to be a bit amusing that tiny teenage girl kills grown-up man with a pencil and that father who is next to the wall doesn't see or hear anything. Also, HJ's disapperance was unnecessary and weird that once again she cares about HW's opinion when she knows that her rich husband could easily get rid of every evidence without the problem. And I'm sure he would shut HW's mouth as well if he needs to do it. But I doubt that she run away to "close herself in life prison", I think she was too tired of HW, her family and her life. Her problems wouldn't disappear - maybe she was afraid HW would still want revange in some way, she would see her a lot, she would be forced to live with a husband who she doesn't trust and lie to Lisa to the rest of her life that she didn't kill a person. She would end up painting her "happy family" that she wasn't even have. There was a moment that she said she thought her feelings to WJ disappeard and I think she had feelings until the end, that's why we saw her at the end near lake where she dropped WJ's body.
