It's fun to see the headmaster (or principle) from My Huckleberry Friends as Li Yubing's coach. When I see them together I can't help but think about My Huckleberry Friends.
Why change Tang Xue's father's occupation? It does nothing except to fuel a love triangle with Biang Chen, who…
But I can understand why so many changes were made since idol dramas don't really have enough time to build up characterization of every single character, and instead its easier just to put them in a relationship and call it a compromise.
Can people please stop spreading rumors about Lin Yun? First of all, there is no evidence Feng Shaofeng cheated on Ni Ni with Lin Yun, just media speculation. Second of all, there is no evidence pointing to the fact she changed her name to avoid the media digging up her "black history". She changed her name because her previous name (Fei Xia) was kind of difficult to remember and Lin Yun was much easier to remember. Apparently her old Weibo messages were dug up and she was a pretty rebellious teenager, but she's not a teenager anymore. Can we just let people grow without throwing ridiculous rumors?
call me mean but I honestly feel like him lying to her like 10 years ago is no big deal. he's changed so much and has been so caring for her like...? one mistake doesn't define a person!
lmao Tang Xue singing songs from "Ashes of Love" while the MV plays in the background. the director could not be less subtle about being the director Ashes of Love too.
watched eight episodes and I like it! But I hate watching ongoing dramas because you can't binge it at once! The love triangle was little annoying but it seems to have resolved for now.
I just realized how similar Li Yitong and Jin Chen are! They both graduated from Beijing Dance Academy, both were born in Shandong, both star in a lot of historical/guzhuang dramas, both are born in 1990, both are born in September (fifth for Jin Chen, sixth for Li Yitong), both get a lot of female lead roles but haven't made it super big in entertainment, and both have upcoming war dramas!
I have pretty high hopes for this drama seeing as the cast has solid acting skills and the summary is interesting. I hope none of the main characters end up being basic Mary Sues because there's such a lack of empowering female characters/shows in China and this one sounds like it could really change this the Chinese entertainment industry.
it's not really a "sequel". All the Chinese Paladin shows are based off games, so they first remade the fifth installment in the game series, then decided to make the fourth one. To this day, there still isn't a Chinese Paladin 2 drama.
