did not like the korean version. sometimes i think the 16 episode/1 hr format does way more damage than good. here they had a chance to remake a great drama (and the japanese version had issues they could have improved upon) but they gave us a makjang rollercoaster ride from 10-14.
this show is great for the first 9 episodes but they obviously padded in a lot of crap to get the material to stretch for 16 episodes.
i finished this drama but wish i had spent the time on something else.
the romance aspect was ok but think the premise was really disgusting! korea is a country where people are bullied into suicide for being gay. people on this planet murder people for being gay, and here on tv, gay people are treated like comedy fodder. i really thought that using this as a plot device TO GET INSIDE OF A HOUSE was horrible! i felt really awful for the museum director (the only really genuine person in this drama) as his feelings were played around by a bunch of really selfish people!
i watched this for lee min ho and i get that fan girl below me insulting everyone for not liking the drama did as well, but this is not his finest work and shame on the writers for churning out this problematic schlock.
100 episodes my GOD o_O what kind of drama is this?!
it's a daily drama like high kick. it's long but the episodes are short and you can miss a few without feeling as if you missed a huge part of the story.
i usually can't keep up with daily dramas (too much harddrive space) but this one is filling the high kick 3 void.

no prob. i totally went by your recommendation and started watching taisetsu na koto wa subete kimi ga oshiete kureta and i'm hooked!
i just dropped it, i already watched youre beatiful of korea, and when this japan version started, i realized…
way more comedy in this one. i'm enjoying it so far. neither is better than the other, just different. i kinda prefer the japanese format of 11 episodes more to the korean 16 hour long format though. less time wasted.
this was a great drama but the last episode's human trafficking scnario cheapened it and should have been completely left out. you can get people to admit their feelings for one another without a tropey-esque battle royale.
i can't believe he was let out of the SM entertainment basement!
lol. it's a joke alluding to how sm entertainment talent and trainees are treated (draconian contracts, harsh touring schedule, etc) . kim kibum kinda disappeared for a while from super junior (didn't do any promotions with suju from like 2006 hahah) and the joke is a reference to that.

plus daesung is hilarious in this!
i figure once she got the job, and when her father came back, that sort of took care of the money issue.
