out of the 4 adaptations i've watched (japanese anime, japanese live drama, taiwanese drama, and the koraen drama) this is my least favorite. they veer too far from the story and it's more pretty faces than good actors. plus the long episode format made getting through this a pain.
lead actress seemed too old to be playing a high schooler.
hahah yeah. i was curious to see how the korean version would be since the second season of the japanese version felt a bit rushed and unfinished (i think the manga was still ongoing then).
i really like jaejoong and lee bum soo in this and those two are the only reasons why i'll finish it hahaha
weird detail that i missed. no one actually called her chiaki in the beginning hahah. the first episode twist…
watch the episode again. no one calls her by that name at all! it was a weird thing i missed first but it explains the 'twist' with arata's character saying she's a fraud at the end of the first episode!
i think her classmate calls her haruka in the beginning but her friends, the job counselor, her brother on the phone, or anyone don't actually refer to her by her first name.
she took on hyuga's mother's name because she knows hyuga and since he has a problem recognizing faces, she knew he would remember her. they'll probably go into her past explaining how she knows hyuga.
one thing that bothered me is that they were going somewhere with the japanese singer in the earlier episodes and sorta dropped it. other than that, great drama!
