Agreed. I dislike short dramas because of such reasons, but finally I can say this is my fav short drama. The slowmos were absolute chefs kiss. Bless the director and writer! ofc! FXZ!

Well, it's normal to use the comment section or whatever platform you use to vent out your disappointments about a drama. It's normal for dramas to have negative comments. However, what OP was pointing out was for those who obviously don't like the 'childhood to lovers trope' in dramas from the get-go. If such trope is inline with your interest and you came to watch a drama with that same trope, however, you suddenly became disappointed because you find something you disliked about the storyline or character of the drama, then it is normal for you to vent out your disappointments or lay out your critics on where and why you started to dislike the drama despite initially liking it. It's a completely different case from those who disliked or aren't interested but still forced themselves to watch such dramas from the start, and are constantly complaining about the same thing over again.

True! I agree with you! some people are so quick to judge or make assumptions. Sex workers are 'normal people' too, not all interactions with them are merely for sexual purposes, it's 2024 can't believe some people still have such closed mindsets. Even more so, Artist are normal people too! Whether they are engaged in such activities or not, as their fans we are in no position to invade in their private life matters or better yet, make false accusations/assumptions based on an interaction of just liking a dm from a fan. Like, everyone can be a fan no matter what background, seriously.

Exactly! I also honestly don't understand the logic behind such. It's not as if we are scarce of k-dramas, that dramas like this are the only ones left in the whole world. I find it so unnecessary to allow a drama you dislike to consume your time, which instead could have been used for enjoyment rather than attending to the feelings of disappointment or frustrations. Unless, they simply find joy in spreading unnecessary negativity. It's not even difficult to focus on the k-dramas that better suit your 'interest'. I wonder when such people would understand that not all k-dramas were made to cater to them or are targeted towards them.

tbh, i'm starting to wish they would do it in cdrama way, with 40 episodes and a next season

Okay, i'm ready for the revelation about Seunghyo's family story. We're finally about to get the reason for their distance and lack of communication towards each other. I honestly liked both Seunghyo's parents, they look so cute together. It's also, quite evident that they do have feelings for each other but there seems to be an invisible wall between them that had long been built and both of them are afraid to climb over it.

Exactly! that is why they needn't make any grand gestures or super intimate interactions for me, because of their amazing chemistry. I can relate to you, slow burn in kdramas hit different tbh.

I am so ready for the adam's apple scene and many more 😭. I am seriously loving how cinematically beautiful the scenery is in most of their moments together and with just even the subtle touches or the stares exchanged between them made my heart flutter. Reminding me again, why childhood to lovers trope and that slow burning pace in relationships truly hits different once it reaches climax. Might not be deemed as completely romantic, yet there is still romance in the midst of those subtleness that makes you anticipate for so much more.

It's my problem too 😭 like I wanna just binge watch this but like you said it really is impossible...plus we'd be dying of curiosity to know the 'happenings'. So, I guess it's better to go through the torture of waiting than the not knowing right away haha
