I think it was pretty clear since earlier episodes that the FL no longer have any feeling for her ex. When FL saw her ex-fiancee she evidently rejected her ex-fiancee quite a lot of times when her ex-fiancee kept asking her to continue having a meal together. The only time she agreed to have a meal with him was one time and that was meant to be a final goodbye meal for the both of them. Then, when her ex-fiancee proposed to her again, she clearly rejected his proposal. Also, at earlier episodes, she clearly said it herself when ML ask her if she would reconcile with her ex-fiancee, she said she doesn't want to. Her crying at the airport doesn't mean she still loves him, it is a normal human emotion, a normal human thing, people cry when things come to an end but that doesn't necessarily mean they are holding on to those people or still love them. Goodbyes are just simply sad. If she still loved her ex-fiancee then she would have just accepted his proposal and stopped him from going to the US in the first place, otherwise, it is a stupid act of FL to constantly keep rejecting him and his proposal if she still loved him.

She had already moved on from her ex, you can see it through her words and actions. Also, before her ex even got into the picture, the writer had been hinting how FL had started developing feelings for the ML, it is just that the FL herself doesn't realize it yet, then the ex-fiancee came into the picture which opened up her past, she needed proper closure for that obviously, thus, they gave us that airport scene which is the final closure to FL relationship with her ex.

Again, I merely stated a fact. This drama indeed revolves around the storyline of both characters there is nothing that can be done whether one dislikes their story or not. Like you said, you didn't like their storyline then it is completely up to you whether you want to continue watching or dropping this instead, because their storyline isn't going to change. Also, there is no need to 'generalize' and call other people who aren't involve in our current conversation as someone rude. Don't worry, the angst there was related to the ML's past which had only been uncovered and faced during those late episodes, it also became sort of the reason why the main couple there took some time off from each other, with LND it's completely different, the writer cleared up everything early on instead of later.

Love the quick turn around. This is exactly what happens when they criticize too early on a drama that has a perfect storyline pacing. So much for wanting to rush everything that they forget to slow down and enjoy the ride. Kudos to writernim for her brilliant writing and showing that using same trope in drama doesn't necessarily equate to having the same storyline outcome.

I beg to disagree. LND has better osts for me. 'What Are We' & 'Leave it all behind' which automatically became my fave even before they got released, now i'm constantly listening to both songs on 'repeat'.

Yes, it was a nice reference to his family. Same, it has been a long time since I have been wishing for him to end up in a saeguk drama. I agree, there would be pressure but we could hope a little I guess hehe ... I honestly don't remember any mention of his character in TRS.

When watching this drama, you really need to pay close attention to every detail - whether through actions or dialogues exchanged among characters. Like you really need to put yourself in the characters' pov. Right! it also hints how he truly knows her very well, even how her mind works.

Same! honestly with the direction the storyline of LND has been going and the fact we're nearing the end, I really doubt they'll take such a dramatic turn to traumatize their viewers. Like, why would they want to suddenly kill a character. Also, Jung Haein spoiled it from the interviews that there would be so much happiness in in upcoming episodes to the point we'd want it to stop. Like seriously, it's just Seunghyo and his passion for his job as an architect.
