The First Frost has a slow pacing since the romance leans more to slow burn, however this type of pacing for the story does its justice, you honestly wouldn't feel the slow pace once you get to further episodes as there are a lot of depth into the story and at the same time it's eventful. You should give it a shot until episode 10. You will never truly know until you give it a try, sometimes the good dramas are the ones we least expected.

I love their sleepwalking scenes so much too and it's one of the most unique aspect that sets this drama apart. The emotional weight of those scenes just tugs at the heartstrings. Looking at his upcoming projects it's all inclined with suspense, thriller and action, hopefully we'd get to see him in a romance genre drama again. He shines in this genre too. Although I heard he will be filming something in June but nothing has been disclosed yet on what project it is.

The trailer is so beautiful and Bai Lu looks like an absolute goddess. I am sure she will be delivering another phenomenal performance again. I can't wait for this to air 🩵

I knew I shouldn't have let my expectations go high. I only got interested in watching this because I liked the original Thai version but so disappointed because this doesn't come close or isn't even that decent enough. The chemistry is lacking by a lot and the acting is just not it.

In episode 18, Sang Yan asking Wen Yifan to come home and bring an apple for him actually has an underlying meaning.

🍎 苹果 ping guo is usually given out as a gift during christmas eve in chinese culture as it has a homophonic relationship with 平安 ping an which means safe.

During that moment, Sang Yan wasn't simply asking for an apple, he was actually asking for her to return to him safely. And, Wen Yifan knew exactly what he meant, hence, after they had professed their love for each other, she bought not one but two apples signifying their safe love.
