Bai Jing Ting Ost...!πŸ₯Ήβ€οΈ
I thought he has a very calming voice when he speaks but when I heard him sing, I can't help but be completely enthralled over the beauty of his voice.

WYF the prettiest!!We understand u SangYan!!!
Wen Yifan has a simple type of beauty that you would naturally gravitate towards her even if her presence weren't made to be bold but quiet, she is a walking goddess 🩡

its such an amazing scene to see Sang Yan hanging Yifan's purse around his neck and then carrying her on his back…
this is the reason why ep 22 is one of my favorite episodes from the drama, it wasn't only about the funny and cute side of Yifan but I love how we got to see Sang Yan taking care of Yifan in the most husband-er way, this whole episode was so wholesome 🩡

Your review is written well and I like how you balanced everything out I found it concise. I specifically love how you described Wen Yifan's character, your description resonated a lot with me. This drama clearly showed that it wasn't only Sang Yan who was her knight in shining armor that helped her weather through the storms but a big part of it came from her own self. I also agree with you about the 2nd couples romance, I actually like them as well but wasn't a huge fan of how their story was written. Nice 🌸

Your review is lovely. I resonated with what you had written here, it might have not been a lengthy one but you were able to capture majority of the dramas essence - most especially with your description about SangYifan's love, you caught the very depth of what made their love outstanding and rare. This is such a great review 🩡✨

Drama adaptations won't and will never be a hundred percent exact copy of the novel, there will always be changes…
that's alright too! afterall we have different taste and preferences at the end of the day.

Instead of talking to yourself here on our page. Why don't you just talk to yourself at the mirror? You fool!

this is the very reason why I have refrained from watching any dramas ever since TFF ended I haven't picked up anything yet, I have been rewatching instead and told myself I will only pick up another drama once I am sure I will not have any bias to carry with me haha

This is exactly why in my review I wrote the title as 'A poetically crafted story that deeply captured the essence of an unconditional love and engraved it as a lasting imprint' but it's too long so I had to reduce it hahaha. TFF felt so much like a poem for me that no matter how many times I re-read it, I always find a new meaning and perspective.

So I read the web novel and I can understand why many of the fans of the novel disliked the drama. The Hong Kong…
Drama adaptations won't and will never be a hundred percent exact copy of the novel, there will always be changes bound to happen. I personally think that some of the changes they had made in the drama added more depth to the story, specifically the Hong Kong plot - I found it significant how Sang Yan pieced together Wen Yifan's past, he saw through her deepest scars and this made him realize how little he knows about his loved one ; on the other hand, this certain arc made Wen Yifan realize and learn to finally remove the mask she has long been wearing and allow the person whom she loved most to see the real her whom she had kept hidden. It allowed growth and realization for both these characters without having to downplay what they had been through.

this drama showed me that cdramas also have potential to envoke such strong emotions.
Truly this drama has so much depth to it and has woven intricate details seamlessly that even through subtle acts or words there can be so many profound meanings. What I loved even more is how it not only depicted a sentimental setting but made these feelings very palpable as well.

Right. I wish more people tried to understand her. Both their love has always been equal.

I share the same thoughts as you, I always thought Yifan had feelings for Sang Yan since they were in high school there were many subtle hints that indicated it, however, because of what had happened to her, she had to suppress her feelings and their separation that rainy night in Beiyu was her trying to set her love free because she doesn't want to taint the beauty of it. Wen Yifan had always regarded Sang Yan as someone so precious and valuable that she wants to protect his shine and only give him the best of the world.
