The assistant director of TFF mentioned in his livestream how he saw Bai Jingting returning in the car alone to cry secretly, this wasn't captured by cameras. He said Bai Jingting may not be good with words, but in his heart, he understands everything clearly.

Actor Bai Jingting truly didn't just embody Sang Yan as a character, but he lived every emotion and feelings of Sang Yan as his own. You did well actor Bai 🤍🍃

You won't get the so-called hype if this type of drama isn't your cup of tea to begin with. As for the rating it is subjective, I am one of those who had thoroughly enjoyed this show and still linger here long after it has ended because this drama had satisfied me and greatly impressed me - hence, for those of us who loved this drama will understand why this drama deserved the high rating of 8.9. So to put it simply just because a show is not an overall 8.9 for you doesn't mean it will be the same for others. We all have different taste, if this has not filled your cup, well I hope you find a drama more inclined to your taste. As for the draggy parts you have mentioned, I think this is subjective as well, this drama leaned more to slow burn romance so the pacing they had given was reasonable - not just about the romantic development between the leads but especially about 'trauma' which is the central point of this drama and that being said such plot arcs don't deserve to be rushed, and they actually did a great job portraying that here.

We are quite the same, this is actually my least anticipated drama and I was much more excited for my fave actor's upcoming drama but ever since I started watching TFF I instantly got hooked to the point I forgot about the initial. It took me days to actually compose this since the ending had left me completely speechless. Sang Yan and Wen Yifan's characters had grown on me that watching this drama felt life-changing so I indeed poured my emotions in here. Thank you for reading 🩵

Right that scene was very moving, the dialogues they exchanged spoke of how much they love each other - they were literally confessing how their existence was because of one another. I remember crying a lot during that scene because even I felt overwhelmed by Sang Yan's unwavering love throughout all those years. He kept his promise to her. That too. He handled her trauma well. You speak my mind! they are exactly my favorites as well, hence, when I always keep on rewatching these specific scenes over again.
