I figured. There's a defining line between bullying and disagreements it's crazy how that "line" suddenly became invisible over a mere disagreement. Also, we all know the hate TFF has been receiving these days (actually even way before) from 'toxic' fans of other dramas, so it's not like the conversation me and the user had earlier was something out of this world, doesn't even come close to bullying but yeah some people sure do love to twist stuff.

I get it you can't take disagreements and that's okay. This site is an open discussion forum. People are bound to agree or disagree this is very normal. You can go check every drama's comment section and you will see this is normal. This is what MDL was made for. So no need to act like this is something "new" and out of the world. Right now you honestly sound like you have strong prejudice against people who watch and loves this drama because look at how you are blowing things out of proportion again over a disagreement that none of these users even had with you. You act like this is the only page that does things abnormally, I have been an MDL user since 2019 and have engaged in countless of discussions be it for agreements or disagreements. This is the first time I am seeing someone twist things this much and call "disagreements" as aggression and bullying and having no moral grounds. Like I said in my previous statement, if you can't handle disagreements and have this mindset that disagreements equate to bullying, attacking and aggression etc. you better not put yourself in place that is bound for such disagreements in the first place.

Same here, that's what I know too that this site was for discussions and not just for reviews this is why there is a comment section made for each drama to basically discuss not like be there as a display. I guess some people are just not good with disagreements, I am like you as well, all up for discussions whether we agree on something or not because afterall that is what conversing is about.

Exactly it goes both ways and my goodness disagreements are a normal thing, like we all have different opinions so we are all bound to disagree with each other. I've been on this site since 2019 and have seen and engaged in tons of disagreements this is the first time I have seen someone label disagreements as bullying like this is a normal thing in this site how come suddenly if we do it in this page it is bullying and even to the extent of having no moral grounds and aggression.

we were talking about the ones on social media and the toxic fandom culture, you're really blowing things out of proportion based on a conversation I had with another user then you proceed to generalize everyone here and twist stuff even claim of aggression, before you go on policing people try to learn what disagreements are if you aren't comfortable in having such disagreements then it's best you avoid putting yourself in a place that is bound for disagreements.

MDL is a site for open discussions, people here are free to express their opinion whether positive or negative and just as much people are also allowed to disagree with certain comments this is an open community. You are twisting things too far and blowing things out of proportion. Bullying? Lecturing? Attacking? so you mean disagreeing with someone means these things? people can no longer have discussions and disagreements because that would mean bullying. It's not healthy to think in such a way.

Free speech is very normal so is counter arguments/disagreements. This site is clearly for review and discussions so why be pressed about people disagreeing with other users comments? No one has gone to the extent of bullying. You should search the definition of bullying vs disagreements first before you blatantly label others of bullying and having no moral ground. If you think this drama isn't as good as Hidden Love, go ahead no one is forcing you to love this drama but to make such excessive blatant claims is a bit too-far-fetched.

No one is sliding anyone here. You act as if disagreements is not a normal thing, every drama page you check in this site obviously has comments that disagrees with users opinion. This is a normal thing not bullying. "You're actually perpetuating the cycle you complain about, by trying to aggressively tone police this page" even your sentence is too excessive "aggressive"?? accusing people of being aggressive just because they disagree what kind of mindset is that.

I keep seeing it too, like there isn't even a competition here HL ended last 2023 there's always bound to be a new drama that will become popular over the years so to be pressed and bothered by such matters is ridiculous

Ofcourse this is not Hidden Love, its title is called The First Frost. It only shares the same universe as HL and the ML Sang Yan is the older brother of FL Sang Zhi in HL, this is the only connection the two have otherwise they are both completely different. This drama leans more to slow burn romance and has more depth and maturity. Whereas Hidden Love leans more on fluffy romance which is easy to watch casually while this drama might be slow, it tackles aspects that hit on an emotional level hence the storyline has more depth to it and is more compelling. I get you might not like this so to each their own, but if you come here thinking this is HL then that is the wrong mindset.

Yes there was a specific area where they keep their shoes in, but they don't wear it all throughout the house. I have visited my friends house who is chinese before and this type of thing is normal, we bring our shoes in by the same shoe area then change into slippers. It's actually not just them that does this, am asian as well and in our household we have this as well.

TFF is the most popular novel written by Zhuyi, this is her first actual novel and it's known domestically, also Sang Yan's character is the most popular character written. Many had anticipated this drama because of this. As for HL, yes it did become popular internationally so it does have some influence especially for those who aren't novel readers and only followed the drama but you can't deny the fact that TFF has its own popularity separate from HL. It wasn't all HL drama work that made TFF popular, that's a discredit. Like you said yourself, respect all series then you should know HL is not the only basis for TFF's popularity.

I noticed this too and it hits so much harder, what I found even more meaningful is how Wilful ost by Mayday was used in the proposal scene and Sang Yan is the very embodiment of being intentional so it suits him so much.

this is actually pretty common in modern cdramas, they always have that space where they keep and wear their shoes on 🤭
