I knew him in YAMH but I didn't become an instant fan because majority of his works weren't in my line of genre, yes TFF is really his full modern romance drama and the only drama of him I managed to watch and complete after a long time. I honestly hope we can see him in romance genre again in the future but for him, right now I will try getting into his works that are suspense/thriller genre. Yes, I kind of knew he was popular in china but I think he is a bit underrated globally, though after TFF surely he gained more recognition globally.

Glad we agree on that because no way did we ever do such acts. We were peaceful in our own sangyifan bubble, we got no time for hate. I am a fan of that other actor actually and that drama was one of my most anticipated but I was too immersed in TFF hence I decided to binge it sometime soon. I have been sending him flowers weekly as well, originally wasn't a big fan but after watching his performance here and how he gave life to Sang Yan, I instantly turned to like him a lot. You are right he deserves recognition too.

Seriously? that's quite immature, I think I know what drama you were referring to but I doubt any TFF fan sabotaged their ratings, as far as I recall i've seen comments under here in TFF comment section from TFF watchers even recommending that drama for others to watch it too. I honestly don't get these unnecessary hate. Like, if I didn't like something I move on.

Wen Yifan cared about Sang Yan a lot. She cared for him ever since they were in high school, her breaking the promise she made with him in the past wasn't for her own benefits but for Sang Yan. She had always viewed him as someone so bright and deserving of only the good things in the world, after the bad experiences she had faced, she never wanted to taint his shine and bring him to the cruel world she was living in. She had always valued him.

The adult Wen Yifan is the same, she still holds Sang Yan in her mind and heart as someone so valuable that deserves only the good things. What she has been through had shaped her into thinking she doesn't deserve the best things in the world and that she will only ruin the good things, hence, no matter how much she feels for Sang Yan, she had always chosen to set him free to shine and live a happy life. Her decision of leaving him during the HK arc was also her way of protecting him. Yes, her decision wasn't completely right but if you try placing yourself in her shoes and really understand her, you will get why she did what she did.

She values Sang Yan a lot that she willingly meets him where he is at just as much as he willingly does for her too.

The scene when Yi Fan and Sang Yan first met after a very long time in overtime still lingers to me. His eyes were so full of intensity, I could feel a lot more of how much he has longed for her and was relieved to see her for the first time again. Then that accidental bump and new year greeting, I felt he wanted to reach out to her so badly but is stopping himself from doing so.
