Still thinking about them every day, rewatching every clip, and having their OSTs on repeat nonstop on Spotify.
Same here. I still haven't moved on, I watch every content related to them even if i've seen the same contents being posted again, I still watch it like it was new πŸ˜”πŸ₯Ί

you aren't alone, it seems majority of us who enjoyed this drama haven't really been able to move on at all
unfortunately 9 is the highest rating a drama can ever get here πŸ˜•

Fr, you're accurate! The second time I could feel how SY's pov much clearly, the first time we were focused more…
I haven't gotten to those parts yet but I agree with you already because even in earlier episodes I already feel like crying 😒....I am happy you completed it again but sad you had to let go of it once again πŸ’” I bet it will be harder to move on now! we are in this together πŸ«‚

Thanks sis 🩡! Exactly his yearning is more highlighted now and I get so emotional rewatching it especially when they first saw each other again at overtime 😭 Right! How are we gonna move on from this if the re-watch makes it more emotional πŸ₯Ί

Sang Yan's profile picture on his weibo and chat is actually "Storms Never Last" an oil canvas painting by German Artist Friedrich Kunath. It was also used as a cover for a chinese song titled "Today's Thunderstorm Northwind Level 4-5".

Both the oil canvas painting and the song fits Sang Yan very well, the passionate young man who was trapped in the rain in Beiyu.

Continuously little by little bit by bit,
Defeating my last act of stubborness,
Love is lost in the strong wind,
Unwilling to let you listen, I hid it in my memory"

I get sooo super satisfied recalling some scenes.... In ep 20 the way WenYifan 's imagination was shown through…
I agree, the beautiful shots deserves praises. I actually find the cinematography for this drama so visually pleasing, it has this dreamy and nostalgic vibe to it. Most especially the high school flashbacks were so cinematic and when they shot the intimate scenes, they were all so aesthetic.

Re-watching this for the second time around feels a whole lot different compared to the first, there's just so much nuances in this drama that it's able to evoke different shades of emotions and I find it hard not to dwell on these emotions as they constantly vividly linger no matter how I try not to. If the first time around you were watching and focusing on Wen Yi Fan's pov, the second should be for Sang Yan's pov and you'd notice he has yearned for her more than he did before.

She's not rich enough to afford a proper home for herself.
Yes you are right, but since it's a drama they surely want to make her suffering believable so viewers can see her struggles well.

Zheng Kejia is her step-sister, she is the biological daughter of the new husband of Yifan mom. As for the time…
you're welcome! from what I remember it was around episode 7, sure no prob☺️

How is this related to Hidden love.
Same universe and FL character in HL, Sang Zhi is the younger sister of ML character Sang Yan in this drama. Sang Yan is also best friends with Duan Jiaxu who is the ML in HL. This is the only connection they have but otherwise these dramas are completely different stories, in this drama the story focuses solely on Sang Yan and Wen Yifan's love story.

Does anyone know how old WYF's 1/2 sister age is? I'm confused because her mother got pregnant with that sister…
Zheng Kejia is her step-sister, she is the biological daughter of the new husband of Yifan mom. As for the time where her mother supposedly got pregnant when she was still in high school, she had a miscarriage. Yifan's mother then got pregnant again and gave birth to her half-brother who was shown in earlier episodes.

Sang Yan has potentially destroyed any and every male lead for me.... The dedication he had for WYF rivals anything…
He did the same for me too. In my years of watching dramas I have never encountered a ML like him, he remains unrivaled.
