I have a weibo account and I am scrolling through there right now, there's been mixed reactions but it's not as bad as the comments here on MDL. Users left comments feeling sad about today's episode while some of them talked about BJT and Nanan's great acting in this episode.

Exactly, she has yet to realize that. Things like this really do take time. Yes and she does that because she has been accustomed to it all her life. Same here but basing from the trailer I think they will tackle on that.

I do agree that she does need therapy but at the same time we have to consider that SA victims or people with trauma who already find it hard to open up to even their closest family or loved one will find it even harder to seek therapy because therapy requires them to talk about their traumatic experiences and past - talking about their scars is the last thing they'd want to do. It takes time and willingness. With how WYF's current situation is, she hasn't gotten to the fact where she considers this because she is still not in a ready state. Talking about going to therapy is easy, but for these people to actually do it...it's extremely hard.

I hope you copy paste/write it up here because this deserves to be put up here. Everything you wrote in there spoke my exact same sentiments. It's disheartening to see how people lack more understanding these days and choose to box themselves in perfection, gone are the days where flawless and complex characters especially female leads are appreciated and understood.

Exaclty. At this day and year, I can't believe we are still classifying maturity based on age. Just because you reach a certain age in adulthood doesn't mean you are already "mature". Maturity isn't simply gained just like that, it takes a lot, you gain maturity through your life experiences, life is not simple as black and white, it is very complex, and to downplay TRAUMA like that, how much ignorant can one be.

It's likely a promotional strategy for the drama, they made real weibo accounts for both Wen Yi Fan and Sang Yan's characters in this drama and every time an episode airs these accounts will be updating their weibo making it seem like they are "real". So are you blaming her for not telling Sang Yan the truth yet? I think you should try putting yourself in her shoes, you need to understand what Yi Fan has been through is not something that can be brushed off that easily, yes Sang Yan is now there beside her it does change some things but not everything.

Her emotional scars from her SA experience are still there. She hasn't fully healed yet. For people who have never suffered trauma and are in their best mental state, this thing is a piece of cake but for someone like Yi Fan who suffers trauma, opening up is the hardest thing to do. It not only takes time, but it takes alot in them.

She doesn't deserve to be blamed just because she is not able to tell Sang Yan the truth yet, try to empathize with her. Yi Fan's case is different you can't compare it to everyone.
