It was only today that I stayed up at home the whole day and managed to finish writing my review. We are the same, I love to write lengthy reviews too and I only write reviews for certain dramas that manage to capture my heart completely.

I didn't know you were an ALP fan. It's been years for me but I still have ALP on hold. I just couldn't get myself into it yet. I did watch the last immortal but rated it an 8 as I wasn't fully sold into it plot wise. MM on the other hand turned out to be the only one among Xing Ling's work which I ended up loving most. So I completely agreed with the points you made in you review, it is nice to finally see something different in this genre. They definitely earned and deserved that Happy ending!

I have completed watching this drama 4 days ago but it took me a while to be able to write a review as my emotions were all over the place after it ended. I had enjoyed every aspect of this drama and thought it was worthwhile. This drama certainly had made a special place in my heart.

Yeah they definitely went too overboard for this drama and when you watch it, it is actually not that horrible or bad as they deem it to be. Its sad to see such over exaggerated comments drive away those who were actually interested in watching this drama but was misled instead. That's the right thing to do, I will downvote such review too. MDL should really fix their review system and not allow anyone to write reviews when a drama is still ongoing.

True. I never judge a character solely based on a few number of episodes because there is such thing as character development. Well I witnessed how chaotic this comment section was before, it seems calmer now. It's just some of the users who left a negative review are kind of blowing things out of proportion. I bet some of them are just haters taking in the opportunity. A lot are enjoying this drama now which is good 😊

The never kneeling down to your wife is hilarious, the husbands ate their words. Also, why was it so adorable when Chai An and Yangxi both did it. Liang Han is definitely a traitor of the son-in-law alliance.

Finally caught up with the latest episodes and so far I am unexpectedly enjoying this. I didn't like Chai An and Liang Han's character at first but they are starting to grow on me and I can see some character development. I enjoyed the romance of Kang Ning and Chai An they make such a fun and hilarious dynamic because of their wit, cleverness and schemes which shows how compatible they are, while Shou Hua and Yang Xi's romance gives opposite vibes but I am looking forward to more of them too as they also make an interesting couple. Yang Xi's worldly resolute of not crumbling down for even the most beautiful woman was hilarious, the moment he saw Shou Hua he literally got lovestruck instantly and I can't forget his silly smile he let out the moment Chai An and Liang Han got him all figured out. I loved the sisterhood and I am loving the newly formed son-in-law alliance, excited to see more members to be added soon.

His portrayal of Jing Yuan captivated me too even if that was just few scenes. His presence is different. Although I like Fan Yue too but I am liking Jing Yuan a bit more. Yes, I love how they kept Jing Yuan's look at the end with Fan Yue's personality, it makes me think that in someway Jing Yuan and Xing Yue also got their happy ending too and reincarnated into Bai Shuo and Fan Yue.

Yes he never hated Xing Yue he might have just expressed his anger at her but we could see how he clearly never wanted her to submit to him into marriage in that condition because even he was in disbelief that Xing Yue would be willing to marry him just to save one of her people. We could see him scolding her for that too apart from what you mentioned about the moon. I think the most obvious sign would be how he made the exact same Pavillion in his demon realm.

Exactly. Everything was heavens fault but then yeah we wouldn't get Bai Shuo and Fan Yue. They will have no reason to meet or maybe exist even. It's too painful to think but like you, I also view it that way. When I watched the extra episode there was a clear hint that they were the past Xing Yue and Jing Yuan. Bai Shuo said she was glad she met A Mu and Jing Yuan in Fan Yue. That acknowledgement itself made me conclude they were Xing Yue and Jing Yuan from the past and this time their love finally won.

It's bittersweet but I think that is what makes it more impactful emotionally. Even Fan Yue's last look during the wedding resembles so much of Jing Yuan same goes for Bai Shuo. I have finished the drama last night but I still feel empty and couldn't bring myself to write a review.
