I normally don't like sad endings, but I think with My Stand In it would have been okay.

Joe goes again and again to ming and tong , then die. I think he need to rest this time not going back to ming.…

That would have been a fitting ending. But...there's one more episode.

The main turn off for me was the acting .
Everyone is too sweet, imo. Good grief. The actors really don't have anything to work with.

It's so great to see Kimmon. I love him and hope to see him as a lead again soon. I'm on episode 8. I don't love it and I don't hate it. It's very sweet with a lot of and gentle touching and nonFrench kissing while a piano plays in the background. There's sex but not explicit--more romantic. They still leave at least a foot of space between them when they are standing and kissing, even in a high-emotion moment when Krom confesses his feelings. One nice thing about this series is any angst so far has been cleared up quickly and without misunderstandings. In other words, good communication. There's a trans character, too, which hasn't been done a lot. With several long episodes left, I can only imagine there's going to be some hurdles for the two as Fueng rises in fame. For me, this series is kind of mediocre and verging on dull. Both characters are just so nice. So sweet. Don't they have any flaws? Krom even says this about Fueng, but then--Wait. He can't sing. He as a flaw! But, no. He really can sing, so there goes that. Much of this seems to be outside conflicts like fans and managers.

That's the only thing in the story which made sense. The part which did not make sense is to book a restaurant…
Right, it seemed like a stab in the back considering he'd been asking Lin about work all this time.

Yes, that was weird. But I felt he should have told Lin before Lin discovered him the next day at work. I mean, how was Lin supposed to feel?

He lied because he was scared Salin would date him because of his money or position in his life, like previous…
Yeah, but to leave it for Lin to discover the next day at work was crazy! He should have told Lin by the end of the night and why.

Why did they talk about the BACK he fell in love with again when it's not that freaking BACK in the scene they were watching? Joe 1 and Joe 2 do NOT have the same BACK!!! Ugh. Anyway, this show, other than the back shit, is so good. And I hate Tong. I was never fond of the actor playing him, and he does a good job being smarmy and false. What a butt plug.

I don’t think Sol has ever hidden the fact that he still has feelings for Joe. He’s pretty up front and transparent…
I think it's really special that Sol still loves Joe--it shows he loves him for himself, not his former looks. He is still Joe inside New Joe.

another post because i have more thoughts! obviously we all hate tong but seriously what’s his deal?! why is…
I haven't read the book. I think it's that Tong loves the way Ming has always idolized him. He's straight and married to Ming's sister but has loved the hurt Ming's gone through because of it because he's an egotistical prick who likes everything to be about him. He didn't like Joe taking Ming's attention from him (nor the fact that Joe is better at acting and stunts) and I feel he had something to do with Joe's death. But even if he didn't, he definitely got him fired. Now, he feels threatened by New Joe for all the same reasons. I've been thinking Ming could make a comeback, but the way he's doing him now makes me unsure how. Why are you unsure about Wut? And, lol, "Secretary Jim" is the perfect answer for everything. "Secretary Jim found it" "Secretary Jim took care of it" Everyone needs a Secretary Jim in their lives!
